Huge day of mastering today - getting stuck into Mark’s 18-song album! This huge album is almost wrapped up 🤩 An absolute pleasure to work on it.

Recently picked up this beautiful vintage Rogers kit. From the late 70s I believe, although hard to confirm exact date.

It’s getting its first shot at recording here in the studio today 🤩🥁 Sounding great so far - so much tone!

Nice little shoutout from ZAOR Studio Furniture this morning - the creators of our beautiful studio desk!! Thank you 🙏

and I were talking for a couple of years about getting in the studio and recording some tracks. Suddenly after a couple years of talking about it the stars aligned!

Now fast forward 2 and a bit years from our initial conversation and Rod has a sensational 10-track album almost completed, with singles started to be released from it.

Looking forward to finishing the album off together next week! 🤩🤩 Well done Rod!!!

A few people spotted the difference yesterday for what’s new in the control room this year - some big beautiful bass traps along the top of the front wall.

I designed, built and installed these over the holiday break and couldn’t be happier with them!

Not only do they make the room sound even better, they also look so darn good! 🤩

Each panel is 800mm x 800mm square, and over 300mm deep at their top edge. Once they were filled with dense rockwool board they were VERY heavy, but managed to get them up without any dramas.

Happy New Year! After 3 weeks well deserved break we started back in the studio yesterday for the year! (Forgot to post yesterday 🙄😂)

Super excited to be getting stuck back into things and for all that’s in store this year! Many exciting things in the works as always. These will be revealed over the coming days/weeks/months.

Thanks to all the artists who worked with us in 2023 and made it such a wonderful year. Can’t wait to see you all again in the studio soon as well as all the new artists who have already booked in.
