Day 1 today of this gorgeous new display of Mandala Paintings and Jewellery by Vera Dulic. Just for October, make sure you get along to appreciate close up the intricacies of her designs. In Vera's own words she describes her work for this artist of the month showcase:
‘I express myself through my art, particularly through mandala dotting, a practice that has become a deep passion of mine. As a child, I was captivated by the shifting colours in a kaleidoscope, an experience that has profoundly influenced my artistic journey. Although I only recently began creating mandalas, I quickly found myself deeply passionate and somewhat obsessed with the process.
For me, mandalas symbolize the perfection of the universe. I strive to convey a message of beauty and balance through my art. Nature often serves as my muse, offering endless inspiration through its beauty and diversity. My love for colours, along with the natural world, fuels my creativity and drives me to explore new dimensions in my work.’
Loving the new range of single session workshops coming - choice, choice, choice! Just some of the options:

Today was the final talk by exhibiting SA Mosaics artists, which was enthusiastically attended! Make sure you get in to see the incredible artworks by all the artists in this high quality show before it closes at 3 pm on Friday! (27 September). Today's talks were hosted by Elaine Spence and Helen Blackman. Highly engaging and much generous sharing was had, including tips on materials, tools, inspiration and more. Q&A moments were peppered throughout the session giving the large group of attendees the chance to ask their own burning questions. Mosaics are always a popular topic - rightly so, it is such a beautiful and intriguing artform. Thankyou to Elaine and Helen!
