Happy Early Childhood Educators Day! 🙌
Today we recognise and celebrate the work of Australia’s educators in early learning services for the important role they play in supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development in the early years.
Vittoria Barbara studied Early Childhood Education at Flinders and now works as a Kindergarten Teacher at Gowrie SA.
"What I love about working in early childhood education is that every day is different and I can experience the world through a child's eyes and learn with those children. I think of education as a building and we need a strong foundation, and early childhood education is that strong foundation. We work really hard to connect and provide a safe space for children so that their learning and their journey in learning can flourish."

Unravelling the complex relationship between sleep, fatigue and inflammatory bowel disease is the focus of new studies by Flinders University and Flinders Medical Centre's Dr Alex Barnes.
“Sleep remains an underexplored area in IBD research, despite it being a significant cause of fatigue, and likely to influence other issues such as mental health conditions and aggravate IBD activity.
