Chocolate cake with Oreo buttercream, plenty of chocolates with some hand painted gold accents, and a couple of mini bottles to top it off. Happy 50th Birthday to Bronwyn. This cake was made to order by her employer for a work celebration and the request was for “chocolate with a big 50”. The cake can best be described as chocolate with chocolate, and some more chocolate. Rich chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting, ganache drip, loaded with chocolates and two chocolate sugar cookies for the ‘50’! 🍫 🎂 🤤

I had the absolute pleasure to make Scarlett’s 18th Birthday cake this weekend. I was given fairly free reign with the design and was excited to try out an edible flower cake. These are so on trend at the moment and, using pressed and whole flowers, I created a beautiful design to suit. Inside was red velvet cake with both Swiss meringue and American buttercream. 🤤

Having a Naruto fan in my house, I was pretty excited to receive an enquiry to make a cake in the theme! I was given a pretty free reign on the design and thought I’d push myself to see if I could make a figurine (with back up toy in case!). I can’t say he didn’t give me some challenges but I’m mostly happy with how it turned out. Happy 21st, Julian!

C’mon, Barbie, let’s go party! I had so much fun making these for a very special event last weekend. My pink loving heart is in Heaven with all the Barbie excitement at the moment.
