Meet Riley, a third-year MTA apprentice hosted at RMB Service Group training to become an Automotive Electrical Technician. ⚡

Riley’s passion for cars grew stronger in high school while designing digital gauge setups. “I was always looking for opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge, and then I found out about the MTA. I opted for auto electrical work because it offers a different experience than traditional mechanical work,” he shared.

Riley recently purchased an E1 Senator Signature, equipped with Pedders coilovers, a plethora of engine modifications and various other refinements throughout the car. “My car brings me joy and it often sparks conversations with other car enthusiasts,” he said.

Riley added, “Whether you’re into painting, mechanics, or electrical work, being part of the car scene means there’s always something fresh to learn and explore. It’s a great industry to be in.” Beyond work, Riley is actively involved in the car community, regularly attending meets and hanging out with like-minded mates.

RMB SERVICE GROUP HAND OVER SPECIALIST VEHICLE TO SGS IN MOOMBA

Our GM Bob, and Technician Nat travelled to Moomba to take part in the handover to SGS oil and gas crews.

This Scania vehicle is fitted with an Effer crane, and specialist hydraulic systems powering up a wire line, and well integrity unit.

BARNEY V’S BIGGIE 💪💪💪

Australia’s most powerful man, King of the Circus and three times world record holder, ‘Biggie’ Jordan Steffens will attempt to pull Load 28’s ‘Barney the Starlight Crane’ to raise money for seriously sick children.

Biggie will take on his first attempt to pull the 60-ton mobile crane at the Adelaide Festival Plaza Built site on Tuesday August 8th at 11:00am, with the goal to grant wishes for children experiencing hospitalisation and serious illness for The Starlight Children's Foundation. His second pull is set to be held at the Royal Adelaide Show in September.

This exciting event is supported by Built and the CFMEU SA who will be hosting a BBQ on site for those who would like to attend and show their support.
