We were so proud of Mara yesterday who completed her CBT&A Program with an awesome score of 96%.

But it wasn’t just the score we were proud of.

It was the way Mara had coped with everything that has come her way over the last 6 months. 😌

Not many clients have to stop lessons halfway through to - firstly have a baby, and secondly have medical procedures and lengthy hospital stays, and then thrown themselves straight back into the driver’s seat, determined to get their licence.

Mara - you’re an inspiration!! ⭐️

It was a double delight out in the Barossa today, when sisters, Mikaylah and Britnie, undertook our One Day Intensive Program, both scoring a first time pass at the end of the day!!

What a relief for everyone!

With 2 of our instructors having time off during August it’s been a much quieter time.

But we’ve still helped a few clients get their licence in the last week.

And, just as we like it, many of our clients doing a VORT Preparation Program passed first time!

On Saturday at Elizabeth, we had Cody pass his VORT on the first attempt!

And at Tranmere, Kate, who worked hard to find time to fit in her lessons also passed. This had been a long time in the making and due to the rain, we couldn’t even get a celebratory photo.

Sunday morning, Tara finished off her VORT Program with a first time pass at Tranmere. Love the beaming smile from her 😁

At Elizabeth, we had Michael also pass his VORT on his first attempt with a convincing score of 96!

And lastly was Amanda achieving her Certificate of Competency.

Elizabeth was a good place to be doing a VORT with Head-Rite Driving School this week.

We had a VORT on Monday - Daniell completing his VORT Preparation Program with a first time pass.

We had a VORT on Tuesday, with Tyson doing a One Day Intensive Program and passing his VORT at the end of the day.

We had a VORT on Wednesday with Fiona passing her VORT after a lesson/VORT combination.

Neethu was our second client to complete her CBT&A with a successful Final Drive in the 90s this weekend!

Starting with us in May, it was just a 3 month process for Neethu to become an independent driver - (well she will be after she goes to ServiceSA tomorrow 😆)

This is definitely going to help the family out, particularly with kid drop-offs!

This weekend we had a couple of clients complete their CBT&A program.

Edward, on Saturday, scored a brilliant 96% for his Final Drive. He just managed to top his sister’s score from last September (but I’d like to see him beat her ATAR from last year 😆)

Started in September, finished in August! Job done in a timely manner! 🌟

Brian had actually done the majority of his training with another driving school, but came to us for a lesson/VORT combination.

I loved what he said to his instructor after passing -

‘Thanks for the tips. You are a good instructor. I just followed what you taught me!’

And that is how it’s done!

Ben completed his VORT Preparation Program this week just the way we all wanted him to - with a first time pass!

All over and done with by the end of July as requested - just! 😂 (VORT on 31/07)

Now he just needs to wait another month or so before he has his 17th birthday to become a P Plater.

This week it was Ingrid’s turn to complete her VORT Preparation Program and she did it in style!

To finish off July we had continual success with our One Day Intensive Program.

From the Adelaide Hills to the Barossa Valley and in between the success stories kept rolling in.

Heath in the Hills - hopefully it was worth the wait.

Santiago at Barossa - no doubt it was worth the travel

Courtney at Elizabeth - worth the 7AM start!

The last Monday in July was the day the planets all aligned for Ben allowing him to become a P Plater!

The nerves of such an important test led to very little sleep the night before, and a massive headache as a result, but somehow Ben pulled through to achieve that desired VORT pass!

Congratulations Ben!

The green and gold did it! 🏅 🏆

From the first lesson the instructor said ‘ Riley is SO switched on!’

This made it a very quick process for Riley to progress from first lesson to his VORT which he passed easily on his first attempt yesterday!

Now Riley has to hold on to his Certificate of Comptency until his 12 months on his Ls are completed…. But at least the job is done!

Our at Tranmere today we had Oscar achieve success in his VORT.

About a week ago Oscar’s instructor did a mock assessment with him, which showed there were still some areas of improvement required.

Lucky we had a consolidation lesson booked in for last weekend if it was needed.

Getting Oscar’s Mum to come on that lesson as well, allowed Mum to work with Oscar on these during the last week.

This saved the family money in more lessons, and led to success today!

Today started brilliantly for one of our valued families (and our instructor too) when Ross passed his VORT at Flinders Park.

This completed his VORT Preparation Program which he started with us in May, so it’s been a fairly full-on couple of months.

Kudos to Ross for the resilience he showed on all lessons, and his determination that today would be the day!

His instructor, Tracey, is going to miss the hours they spent together each week, as well as all the fresh garden produce from the family 😁

Spend 8 hours of the day sitting in a warm car while you complete our One Day Intensive Program!

In the last 3 days, we have had 3 clients do this Program, and all 3 have passed!

Thursday’s star, Michael who reaped the rewards of his hard work with a first time pass. Michael only booked this in a week ago, and when he chose to go to an area he wasn’t that familiar with, he put in additional training hours prior to the day to ensure his success! Brilliant work, Michael!

Friday’s winner was Ji, who showed his commitment to the day by making sure in advance he knew exactly where to go, and ensured he had completed his homework. This preparation led to him passing on his first attempt. Awesome effort!

And today’s star student was Ash. Ash organised this back in May, as he wanted to ensure a Saturday or Sunday. And he chose his location based on the area he knew best, and also had a bit of input into the examiner we used. All his decisions worked out for the best, as by 3PM today, he had a Certificate of Competency in his hands! Job done, Ash!

STAR OF THE DAY

Today’s star of the day is …. HARRISON!

It was a big day - 8 hours - as Harrison undertook our One Day Intensive Program.

Coming from the traffic of Two Wells to spend the day in suburban Elizabeth was always going to present a challenge!

But Harrison coped with it all beautifully, and scored himself a FIRST TIME pass at the end of the day!

And wrapping it up was Tyra feeling the excitement with her pass at Tranmere!
