If you have been within 3 meters of Dan over the last couple of weeks, he probably mentioned he met at PAX to you. Dan's a big fan of Carles' art. You may recognise the art style as Carles also worked as an artist on Cult of the Lamb.

Maya is a comic book artist in the middle of a creative crisis. She's constantly stressed about deadlines and feels like she's not doing the type of work she loves. In between trying to fight her writer's block and doling out advice to her best friend on how to finally land a date, Maya receives an unexpected visitor: Soma, an extraterrestrial alien who crash lands in Maya's living room. Soma delivers a message to Maya, warning her that an alien invasion from his own kind is fast approaching, and he needs her help to stop it!

Dan here. I've just finished the campaign of Space Marine II and it made me want to jump back into the Warhammer 40k universe. I started reading the Black Library novels again jumping into the Eisenhorn series by Dan Abnett. I'm already up to the 3rd book in the series and I'm loving it.

I got to work the other day and saw that the Warhammer Ultimate Guide hard cover is up for pre-order. It's apparently a photographic visual encyclopedia of Warhammer miniatures that showcases miniatures from every faction, following key characters through the evolution of their models. I preordered it instantly cos I love nothing more than a beautiful hard cover art book.

Greenlight Comics can actually order in Warhammer 40k Black Library novels if they’re in print.
