We're so grateful to everyone who's come along for the ride, making The Last Daughter into a film!
It takes a lot of people and partners to make a film. Some have come for a day, and others have been on the journey for years.
Everyone contributes.
Looking forward to bringing this to the big screen...
Now we're back to the edit suite ;)

In 1973, the Simon family were staying with friends in country New South Wales.
Nan was a young mum with seven children.
One afternoon, a Child Welfare Officer knocked at the door, spoke with Nan and took all seven children. Pop came home from work to find all his children gone.
Child removal laws were changed four years prior, so the NSW Government do not classify them as part of the stolen generation.
Pop went straight to the police station to get help, thinking they would realise their mistake.
He was told to “get a better job, and a better house, appear in court, and you might have a chance to get your kids back”
Head on over to The Last Daughter and join us.
We have such an incredible team of crew and cast (and all their families) helping to put it together.
The journey begins as we film the recreations of Brenda’s childhood.
And what a way to start.
Friends!!! We need some help.

In 2017, we (Simon and Brendon) had the great privilege of meeting Brenda Matthews, an unassuming woman, with an incredible story.
It’s a story that has helped us see the world in a new way, and a story we’re now helping Brenda to share with the world.
If you’ve heard us talk about the feature documentary we’re working on… this is it! -- THE LAST DAUGHTER --..
