LHA has developed the Livable Housing Design Guidelines; a tiered set of best practice standards providing assurance that a home is easier to access and live in and that it is cost-effective to adapt as life’s circumstances change.
Three levels are set out in the guidelines – Silver, Gold & Platinum, with Platinum providing the highest level of accessibility and livability.
A Platinum level achievement means this home is safer, more comfortable, and better equipped to respond to the changing needs and abilities of people over their lifetime.
