With the 2023 silly season in full swing, Commins Construction continues to service our wonderful region. From Cobram to Jindabyne, to establishing and constructing our Gundowring Renovation.

With Project — 2606GR creeping towards the finish line, we sit back and just appreciate how far this farmhouse turn modern has come. You would not believe that these before and after are of the same space, in the same property.

Keep your eyes peeled to see flooring laid, painting be completed and all the finishes touches be made to this beautiful family home.

Project — Gundowring renovation.

Whilst being M.I.A on social media, Commins Construction has been all over the region. Finishing up at Jindabyne, we are now working at Cobram Public School and beginning a renovation in Gundowring Victoria.

This home is located on fabulous farming property in the Kiewa Valley, with snow and river views. This family home is in for an epic facelift, with a newly redesigned open living, a brand new kitchen/butler pantry and a more functional laundry. Also introducing a more modern and timeless presence throughout.

With colours, materials and finishes already picked this renovation is well underway. The before and after pictures don’t do it justice in how much the spaces has already changed.

Excitement is all around! Watch this space to see this farmhouse get a new life.

Meet the face behind the books, socials and design work.

Taylah currently works as a full-time property stylist in the local area. With design work entwined with her day to day life, Taylah provides mood boards and a helping hand when it comes to choosing materials, colours and finishes to our jobs.

She spent her younger years by the beach on the central coast. Then made the move to Dederang Victoria when her family took up work on farming land. Taylah’s passion for building design began at a young age. But grew even further when her and Ben built their first home in Thurgoona.

Whilst Commins Construction has been busy working on the new Police Station in Jindabyne and celebrating one year of business. We still want to put our clients dreams first. Jobs are getting big and better. And for Commins Construction to keep up with those demands, we have secured our Builders License and became an official Company.

We are extremely excited to see what the next 12 months brings!

Today we visited our recent job in Barnawartha and we were blown away when reflecting on this before and after.

Opening this space up, creating a more modern presence and forming a consistent flooring material throughout. Has completely up lifted this open Kitchen, Dining and Living area.

Melbourne Design Show —

Commins Construction spent today gathering some great information and inspiration at the show.

It was fantastic to be updated on all the new and efficient products available in the world of construction and design.

We explored the great range of bathroom finishes, amazing stone company’s and many exterior materials.

We will definitely be back next year!

Kitchen Renovation —

This modern built kitchen consists of stone bench-tops, sleek black finishes and polished concrete throughout.

The corner free-standing bath is a new bathroom favourite. Paired with a niche and brass fittings, makes for a sophisticated bathroom.

This space was created in a full bathroom renovation on the Great Alpine Road, last year.

Commins Construction wishes a HAPPY NEW YEAR to our followers, family/friends, existing clients and forthcoming clients.

We will be returning to work Monday the 9th of January after two weeks away on the fabulous Gold Coast. Consisting of a wonderful family Christmas and lots beach therapy to start the new working year.

The first 6 months of Commins Construction have been productively busy with bathroom renovations, a barn door installation and more. Watch this space to see what is assigned for this year.

How Luxurious!

Our bathroom renovation on the Great Alpine Road is complete and boy oh boy words can’t explain how elegant the outcome is. With fabulous brass finishes, a marble bench top, white horizontal stack wall tiles and moody grey floor tiles. You’ll never see anything more sleek and sophisticated. Truly complimenting this 100 year old weather board home.

A crisp white and moody grey tile combination with sleek black trim at Commins Construction’s current bathroom renovation. Brick stack placement and floor to ceiling formation is just a few steps to an elegant bathroom.

An entire brand new bathroom is now in sight.

Meet the man behind all of CC’s construction, Benjamin Commins.

Ben completed his cert IV in Building and Construction 3 years ago, he has been behind the hammer for 8 years in total.

He grew up on a farm in Gippsland on the Great Alpine Road, attending a bordering school in Sale. He moved to the Albury area 6 years ago chasing football and to finish his apprenticeship. Ben had the perfect opportunity last year and built his own home. Beside him the whole way was his 4 legged best friend, Oscar. Ben spends his time with his partner Taylah and their 2 dogs either fishing, chasing waterfalls or finishing off his home.

Ben makes certain his clients are satisfied the entire way through a renovation, finishing with the end product.
