Let's yarn! 👏🏾 Some of you may have received some texts from AWAHS alerting to your upcoming appointment, and if not, don’t worry, your turn is coming too! In exciting news – we’re implementing an SMS process that will enable you to confirm or cancel your medical, dental and some counselling appointments (as appropriate) with ease. When you receive an SMS, simply reply ‘Y’ or ‘N’ to confirm or cancel your appointment. There is no cost to send the reply text. If you’d like to reschedule, call our toll-free service on 1800 421 640. You cannot send an SMS to the toll-free service number. These tools and processes are in place to ensure mob can communicate more effectively with AWAHS at zero cost. The SMS is not a scam. AWAHS will continue to call community 2-days ahead of their appointments, though if you miss our call, this is a fast and easy way to notify us, and it's free! ☑️ We need community to please inform us if you cannot attend your appointments with as much notice as possible so that we can notify the next person waiting.
