We are back in thurgoona this afternoon, 2.30pm-6.30pm opposite the BP. Pop on down for some yummy after school/work donuts!!

BARANDUDA… We are back at 3 freeman crescent baranduda tomorrow 4th August from around 10am - 2pm with our delicious donuts and we are bringing along the lovely Mel from Greek Eats at her usual times. We will have all your morning tea, lunch, dessert and afternoon tea needs sorted out for you tomorrow, only!

Wow! What a spectacular day down here. I wonder how it would be up in the snow where I would be falling off some skis😆. Our luvverly ladies have the chance to do something tonight that no other Southern Vale Homes Bandits squad has achieved in our 40-year history.

We'll have to keep close watch on the excellent Shyla Heal, who dropped 51 (!) and 52 (!!) points in back-to-back scorching performances last weekend.

In the men's, we'll be out to turn the tables on our 16-point Round 1 loss to the Comets as we continue to build good form heading into our first finals series in almost a decade.

There are more than 100 members of the First Nations community involved in the NBL1 competition across the country, including players, coaches, referees, technical officials, and volunteers. This week they will be acknowledged for their invaluable contributions to the league.

“The NBL1’s First Nations Round, like NAIDOC Week, is a chance for all to recognise and celebrate the history and culture of First Nations peoples,” NBL1 General Manager, Dean Anglin, said.

“This round, more so than any other round, we celebrate the talent, hard work, and impact that all First Nations players, coaches, referees, volunteers, and fans bring to the league.”

Tonight we will attempt to do our bit both on and off the floor.

Tonight, we tip off our three match home stand to round out the reg season with the Inner West Bulls Basketball hitting town.

The Bulls men sit on an identical record as ours, making this one super live for finals placings.

Last weekend they knocked off the Sharks - something we were unable to do - and we'll have to keep close tabs on Alex Higgins-Titsha (20ppg) and Jacob Ohmer (17.7ppg).

The Bulls' women have toiled all season but have just one win to their name but have some solid players in the likes of Ai Matsumoto and Piath Gabriel. We also welcome back Bridie White to the Hideout.
