2024 FOOTBALL NSW COACHING CONFERENCE OPPORTUNITY

The Technical Department of Football NSW is delighted to provide advance notice of the 2024 Coaching Conference will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November at Valentine Sports Park, Glenwood.

The 2-day event hosted by well-known football personality Ms Stephanie Brantz, will see keynote presentations given by international and domestic special guests all having a raft of experience across all levels of the game (see image below for guest speakers).

Coaches will once again have the opportunity to sculpt their own learning journey through a series of theory and practical break-out sessions allowing you to choose topics most relevant to your specific interests including:

• Attacking trends
• Redefining a team culture
• Creating FUN environments for children
• The attacking role of the modern keeper
• Women’s football development insights
• Session design principles for youth football


Coaches can purchase a 1-day (5 CPD Hours) attendee pass or a 2-day weekend pass (10 CPD Hours).

Full attendance at each day earns participants 5 Hours per day towards FA/AFC licence reaccreditation as per the AFC Coaching Convention.

A true comeback story, full of hard work and determination!
Shankar and his boys have entered this tournament 3 years in a row, 2 of which saw losses in the Grand Final against Sunraysia! ⚽️
This year saw them finish 2nd on the ladder to the reigning champs
They went into the Grand Final with belief, courage and desire to give it their absolute best and nailed a hard fought 1-0 win!

Not only did they have a good tournament but when injuries struck, Mace & Alex came across to assist the team!

School Holidays are right around the corner, and Kieran has been working on this Holiday program over the past few months for all of our players to join, improve their skills and get ready for the remainder of the season.

You can choose from individual days, or select a week block or jump onboard for the two weeks.

As many of you know Dash Gurung suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in 2021. He was in the under 10s at the time. His dad, Dupe still plays for O35s and his brother, Dan for Div 3. Dash has been working hard at rehabilitation for the last 3 years and now will be travelling to Canada to receive some laser brain treatment that is not available here in Australia. Dash suffers from debilitating headaches and severe cognitive fatigue, preventing him from fully participating in school and other activities. We are hoping this treatment will help. The Gurung family would love you to help support Dash by joining the family at Dash @ The Devil for a night of fun at The Thirsty Devil on 21st June!
