CHAMPIONS AGAIN!!!

We are thrilled to announce that United Ceylon Cricket Club has emerged victorious in the Winter Cup 2024, defeating Alice Super Kings in the grand final! This triumph marks a sweet return to the top spot after a 3-year wait, and we couldn't have done it without the tireless efforts and unwavering support of our players.

United Ceylon Cricket Club delivered a convincing performance, setting a competitive total of 141/6 and then bowling out Alice Super Kings for 62 in 13 overs, securing a decisive 78-run victory in the Winter Cup 2024 final.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, whose generous support enabled us to reach new heights. We are also deeply grateful to our families and friends, who stood by us every step of the way, offering encouragement and motivation when we needed it most.

United Ceylon Cricket Club secures a convincing win against Mixed Company! Our team dominated the first innings with a score of 227/7, while Mixed Company finished at 91/9 after 20 overs. Stellar performances by Shakeel (4/24) and Roshan (2/18) led our bowling attack. Chathura stole the show with a breathtaking century - 158 runs off just 76 balls, including 19 fours and 7 sixes! Shamindra also made a significant contribution with 46 runs off 25 balls. With this win, United Ceylon Cricket Club advances to the final, with one more match remaining in the group stage.

Opening batsmen Shamindra and Chathura are on fire in the winter tournament, with both players blazing to incredible centuries, smashing over 150 runs each in a phenomenal display of batting prowess, making for a truly fantastic performance thus far!
