April is Falls Awareness Month.
Lack of physical activity can lead to muscle weakness and poor balance. This can increase the likelihood of falls and injuries.
We recommend:
- Exercises and activities that improve strength and balance – it’s never too late to get active!

Smelly Shoes & Feet? Sweat and heat from feet cause shoes to become a breeding ground for bacteria and fungi causing odour.
Alice Springs Podiatry provides UV light sanitation for shoes using SteriShoe equipment. You can purchase a SteriShoe device from us or drop off your shoes off into our clinic and we’ll do it for you!

Does your child have heel pain? Growth plates in the heel can become inflamed in young active children. Our Podiatrists can help relieve the pain and support your children’s feet as they grow.

Sure, feet are our specialty – but just because the symptoms aren’t showing up in the feet doesn’t mean we can’t help!
For example, hip pain – pain in the hips, lower back and glutes can be caused by feet and posture related issues, such as your feet rolling in, high arches and abnormal walking patterns.
Our Podiatrists can help by assessing your gait and can recommend appropriate footwear, special exercises and administer orthotics to correct your alignment.

Alice Springs Podiatry is home to a busy multi-health clinic with podiatrists, massage therapists, chiropractor, osteopath, acupuncturist, denture prosthetist and visiting health specialists. We are a vibrant team, have fun and are passionate about what we do.
✨Administration Role✨
The position involves managing a busy reception with bookings and billings, liaising with clients, stock ordering, sales, instrument sterilisation, supporting podiatrists as well as assisting in the management of general operations and administrative duties. The successful application will also be offered a 12 month Business Traineeship to achieve a Cert 3 Business Certificate. Training will be provided.
Applicants must:
• Have previous administration & customer service experience
• Be well-presented & punctual
• Excel in customer service
• Have good computing skills (word, excel, outlook, social media platforms)
