Pisces Full Moon, SuperMoon + Partial Lunar Eclipse ~

The Pisces Full Moon marks the beginning of an eclipse cycle.

The fact that this Full Moon is a Supermoon, which means it’s at its closest to the earth in its orbit (aka ‘perigee’) amplifies the power of its passage of ushering in the eclipse cycle, with all the accompanying shifts and cosmic quavers. This partial Lunar Eclipse prepares us in a way, for the disruption by helping us release the stories we carry on a cellular level from the past which we may not necessarily need for the path ahead.

The Full Moon i.e. the Sun opposing the Moon, is also part of a large partial so-called ‘kite’ pattern. (see the diagram here). An earthy Grand Trine formed by the Virgo Sun, trine to Uranus in Ta**us and Pluto in Capricorn represents an omnipresent revolution taking place in the material world, and the Full Moon/partial Lunar Eclipse is a catalyst for it to have a peak of some sort, something we can focus on, or that stands out from the dreamy watery scenario of Neptune in its last degree of Pisces conjunct the Moon, and the lackadaisical nature of the Grand Trine.

Mars in Cancer is also activating the disruptive energies of the Lunar eclipse pattern by forming a Cardinal Grand Cross with the Moon’s Nodes, (so affecting everyone on a soul level) as it opposes Ceres and Pholus. Ceres, an asteroid, rules grains and harvest, food and nourishment, Pholus an asteroid which moves between Saturn and Neptune weaves the practical realities of living as we do on Earth, with the boundless multi-dimensional realities Neptune gives us glimpses of.
NB: We feel the eclipses, Lunar and Solar, months before and after they actually take place.

This Virgo New Moon opposes Saturn in Pisces and Squares Jupiter in Gemini. The relationship, the square, between Saturn and Jupiter happens around every twenty years, and usually occurs two or three times within a period of around a year, as they do their familiar dance of contraction versus expansion. Many people find it frustrating as they feel their lives expanding and moving forward on the one hand and yet there are some of the classic obstacles and limitations of life in the third dimension.

They were exact at the Aquarian full Moon, a few weeks ago, but the effects continue, and now especially since Saturn is directly opposite Sun and Moon conjunction in Virgo, (the New Moon).
This time its about completing a time of work and restraint, or personal development; and opening to a new vision, with the accompanying intentions.
There will be more opportunities to harness the growth of Jupiter, and the discipline of Saturn in the next nine months.
The Square will repeat itself on these dates:

Jupiter 14º Gemini square Saturn at 14º Pisces, December 24, 2024

Jupiter at 1º Cancer square Saturn at 1º Aries, June 15, 2025

Then they will move apart again until they come into opposition in around 5 years.

Aquarian Full Moon, Supermoon

In these intensely dynamic times we are living in at present, this big Full Moon is highlighting the massive shifts affecting all life on our planet one-way-or-another.

A Supermoon appears very large because the Moon is at its closest to the Earth in its orbit, and as we know the tides are demonstrably affected by the Moon’s position in the sky. The oceans, and needless-to-say, the fluids in our bodies, and emotions.

The chart for this Full Moon is complex and multi-dimensional. Smaller cycles and triggers are within the bigger longer lasting cycles of the outer planets which most astrologers have been talking about for years.
We are at the beginning of a Saturn/Jupiter square cycle, which happen around every twenty years. This configuration highlights the contraction/expansion polarity; the in-breath and the out-breath; the yin/yang, shadow/light duality of life on earth.

These two planets come into an exact square under the Full Moon and will stay in close relationship like this for the next week or so. Depending on where they each are travelling in your chart, you will notice something opening up to you, a new horizon or possibility, (Jupiter) concurrently you will need to work harder, contract or/and close off another part of your life (Saturn).

These two planets will connect two more times in their square after this Full Moon meeting: in December 2024 around Christmas, and again in mid-June 2025.
The square aspect between Saturn and Jupiter, forms a Mutable T-square with Venus.
And additional to this, Mars is in close conjunction with Jupiter in Gemini, modifying the contraction/expansion quality by softening the disparate energies of Saturn and Jupiter with the grace of Venus and creating an action trajectory of Mars.

I listened to a wonderful podcast of interviewing the remarkable Margaret Wheatley this morning, and was deeply reminded and touched by both of these women; their courage and generosity in these very challenging times.

These days I always come back to the Marseille deck. There is just something about it that penetrates through the veils of time and space, and shows me a truth that I know comes from beyond my mind and experience.
This is the zodiac spread.

I haven’t always had this powerful deck as my core deck, it’s only in the last 10 years or so. I don’t think I was ready for it until then. I started my learning process for doing readings for others with the Rider Waite deck, and I still like to use it, especially in the short readings I do at markets.

I have a collection of Tarot decks and oracles, and I’ve even created an oracle called ‘Candid Cards’ (which you can purchase).

Capricorn Full Moon
21st July, 2024 – 8:18pm AEST

This is the second Capricorn Full Moon this year, which is quite rare.
The Moon has the now retrograde Pluto in strong conjunction with it and is trine to Uranus, and will be felt collectively on one level or another.

The retrograde Pluto heading into Capricorn for its last sojourn (for around 248 years) until November 20th, when it returns to Aquarius where it will be for around the next twenty years.

I’ve spoken about this momentous placement in most of my articles for the last two years or so. It represents a massive shift in consciousness, and this last few months in Capricorn will complete that paradigm: dismantling the Capricorn structures and infra-structures, the status quo which has held power for the last few decades.

The retrograde movement means that at this time, this is most likely to be a deeply internal trajectory, clearing out the last debris of the world we’ve been building, the structures we thought would hold us safely in a norm, which is now, no longer a ‘norm’.
And maybe its time to question whether there really is a sort of constructed safety, or whether the only ‘safety’ is the total acceptance of change and that the part of us which is not subject to birth and death, an eternal-true nature, is the only ‘safety’.

The trine to Uranus feels like an easeful flow and transition into this Aquarian age we are emerging into. But like all cocoons, things are a bit chaotic and dissolute, before they clearly form their next incarnation. The butterfly emerging can be the freedom of Aquarius, a new age for all.

Mars still in conjunction with Uranus enters Gemini under this Full Moon allowing for the dualities and paradoxes normal to new pathways opening. Actions need to be pluralistic and adaptable.

Venus in Leo is trine the North Node in Aries which bodes well for a potentially beautiful and creative path, especially if you can stay in a Love frequency, which Neptune in the last degrees of Pisces, sextile the Cancer Sun, and Saturn in Pisces are mirroring back to us. Neptune with its boundless shimmering energy, and Saturn teaching us about the perimeters of Love when it is bound in form.
