Introducing the newest member of the Greg Iacono Automotives team. This young man is our 3rd year apprentice Brock. He has been a part of our workshop for a few months now and he fits in like a glove with the boys.
He has a very friendly and helpful attitude, and his knowledge of the car industry for someone so young is impressive. His love of cars and his curiosity about them throughout his life has made him the perfect addition to our workshop as he is so keen to learn more whilst still knowing quite alot. Next time your in say hi to Brock.
This was posted on our page today by a very happy customer of ours. What a great note to finish the week on. 😃
We wish you all a wonderful and safe weekend.
Well its Friday, again, how fast did this week go by.
It goes without saying that our thoughts are with all those who its been a tough week for, not only in our country but also the world.
Last weeks dream car was Scott's dream car so well done to all those people who guessed right. 😄 He loves the great outdoors our Scott.
Continuing on with the theme I thought I would do one more. Most of you would know Eleanor from the movie 'Gone in Sixty Seconds' with Nicolas Cage. Out of Pete and Steve, if money was no option who do think dreams of adding the beautiful Eleanor to their garage.
Its Friday yeah!! and what a busy week its been in the GIA workshop.
In light of the HUGE power-ball comp that went off last night, that clearly none of us won as we were all here at work today 🤣we asked the boys what car they would own if money was no object.
Here is one of the responses and you have to guess which mechanic in the GIA workshop would be driving this car if he won last nights powerball...
Happy weekend everyone and thanks for all your amazing support of our workshop 😊
This week we are introducing Stephen.
Steve started working for Greg Iacono way back in the 90's as a young 3rd year apprentice and ended up buying the business with his wife Martine off Greg and his wife Jane in December of 2007.
He is a Bathurst local born and bred who grew up around cars. His first car as many would remember was his V8 Navy Blue Ford Falcon XD with the bug catcher and gear drives. I remember asking Greg what his first impression was when Steve pulled up to his interview in that car. He said, I knew straight away that he had a passion for the industry. Which is true, Steve loves cars, but he has a soft spot for the Ford Falcon XD being that was his first car.
His knowledge of the industry has always been strong as he grew up tinkering on cars, bikes, boats, lawn mowers etc you name it I'm sure Steve has pulled it apart in his life time and worked on it in the back yard with his family, so becoming a mechanic when finishing school was very much an easy and natural career choice for him.
He is passionate about good old fashioned customer service and he is a perfectionist in everything he does which is represented in the way that the business is run.
He enjoys tinkering on his project car (another XD), riding motor bikes and hanging out with his family when he's not at work. Next time your in say hi to Steve.
Today we are introducing our Head Mechanic, Peter.
Most of our customers would already know Pete as he has been at Greg Iacono Automotives for eleven years and his knowledge of the automotive industry is threefold!
He loves many types of cars but one that's close to his heart is the Mini, and he can often be seen driving his little mini panel van about town.
He is a very proud family man of his beautiful wife and kids, a passionate car man which is shown in his knowledge of the automotive industry, he is an integral and valued part of the Greg Iacono Automotives team.
Next time your in say hi to Pete.
Introducing the newest member of the Greg Iacono Automotives team - Scott.
Scott is a Bathurst local who joined us last year in September. He has a great knowledge of the automotive industry and enjoys working on the the vast range of jobs that our workshop attracts. He loves the great outdoors and enjoys camping and exploring the bush with his beautiful family and his pet dog. His car is set up completely all around his love of the great outdoors.
He has been a great addition and a valued member of the Greg Iacono Team.
Meet the faces of Greg Iacono Automotives.

Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.
To all our terrific customers, all of us at Iacono Automotives wish you a Merry Christmas and a fantastic 2021!
Again we wish to thank you for getting us through the difficult times in the past year, without your support it would have been nigh on impossible.
You responded to our promotion in huge numbers, you were incredibly understanding when we had problems such as enthusiastic guys chopping thumbs in half, causing a bit of a work bank up, and now we are going to have a couple of weeks off at the end of the month to probably have some therapy! Or maybe just a relax.
Our last day at work will be Friday the 18th December, and we will be back reinvigorated on Monday the 4th January next year.
Again have a fantastic Christmas and a great New Year.
From the crew at Iacono Automotives.
Finally we have finished installing our new workshop equipment. We upgraded our tyre changer and our balancer, as well as retiring our old wheel alignment machine. And along with a new on-car disc rotor grinder we can now keep virtually everything in-house, increasing our quality control and improving response times. Although a considerable investment we felt it was important to ensure that our client's vehicles were pampered with the latest technology. And our new heavy duty alignment hoist gives a safer work environment for our guys. We are incredibly blessed with the great number of terrific customers that have helped us come through the Covid downturn, and we lived to fight another day!! Thanks again.
Well, our ‘Corona’ promotion has finished and thanks to all the customers who have booked a job, we have stayed alive! All customers who booked before the end of June but couldn’t be accommodated until a later date will still receive the full benefit of the promotion - a discount on the labour charge as well as the bonus voucher that gives them a further discount to use later to pass on to friends or family.
In the meantime, a big thank you from all of us at Greg Iacono Automotives, we are so very grateful for your support!
If we have been quiet of late, it has been because we've been run off our feet. Our Corona promotion has been so popular, we haven't got time to scratch ourselves! We can't thank you enough for helping us survive this horrible time, and if we have a bit of a wait list, it is because we're a man down (just had a baby, woohoo!). Don't forget that the promotion runs until June 30th, and for those who booked in before then, but have their work done after that because we're so busy, you'll still get the labour discount! Don't forget to hand your voucher to a family member or friend, because the vouchers are valid for three months! Thank you all again. Your help has meant that we could keep everyone employed and helped us survive!
