Hello!

We are looking to expand our team and have a vacancy for a support worker.

If compatible there is a potential for 10 hours a week as starting shifts! Applicants must be available to work during the following times:

Days and times needing filling:

Mon or Tues: 3:30pm – 5:30pm (Fortnightly) OR
Mon: 3:45pm -6pm
Tues: 9am -12pm
Wed: 3:45pm -5:45pm
Fri: 8:30am - 1:30pm OR
Fri: 10:45am – 12:45pm

Our preference is to find someone who has experience working in the disability field.
Highly regarded will be people who have either lived experience or have worked with Autism, Intellectual Disability, and persons with challenging behaviours.

We are looking to recruit someone who is happy to work with children and may have experience with children/teens and working within a family unit.

You do not need to have a qualification in Disability/Individual Support to apply, however you will need to be enrolled and begin attending a training course within the first 3-6 months of employment with us. We have a training organisation we can refer you to if required. This will be mainly Zoom based class sessions.

Minimum requirements for this position are:

- A valid Driver’s Licence
- A car or access to a reliable car (insured)
- Up to date First Aid and CPR certificate
- Employee Working with Children Check
- Police Check no older than 6 months.
- Desired: NDIS Worker Screening Check (you will be required to get one if you are successful)

What a beautiful day up in Echuca today with these two munchkins and their lovely mum. Lots of things to see with it being school holidays. You have to try the free fudge tasting!

One of our youngest participants enjoying the sunshine today walking Molly and seeing some of Bendigos sights.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Loving what we do, today I'm taking one of our youngest people for a day trip to Kyenton on a train, his first train ride! We walked the beautiful botanical gardens and had a picnic before coming back on another exciting train ride!

Being a support worker is such a rewarding career path, especially when we get to do fun things like these!
