I steamed some eggs this morning, & served them on top of my delicious buttermilk bread… 🍳🥑

I added 500g water to the Thermomix bowl, then selected Kettle Mode to heat the water up. You could use pre-boiled water from the kettle to speed the process up….

Once heated, I inserted the Simmering Basket, 2 Tupperware Snack Cups, a little butter & an egg in each, then set to cook for 7 minutes, Varoma Temperature, Speed 2…

The size of the egg mould you use will influence how long they need to cook for - set to 5 minutes to begin with, then check, & cook for longer if need be 👌🏽

Wash up is a breeze - all that I need to wash up is the little containers - the Thermomix bowl is still clean 🙌🏽

Definitely need to make more of that buttermilk loaf - I’ve almost run out of my freezer stash & it’s my current favourite! 😍😋

The second edition of the Thermomix Magazine is due out later this month. I’ve been fortunate to get my hands on a copy early. I thought I would give the front cover a crack - and far out!! So good!

This is the “Ricotta Gnocchi with sage butter and pumpkin puree”. Mine doesn’t look as good as the picture, but this was a winner! Wish I could go back for seconds, however I loaded my plate up on the first round!

Stubborn burnt food at the bottom of your Thermomix bowl? Don’t stress! Add a dash of cheap white vinegar, water to the 1L mark, then select ‘browning’ pre-clean mode….

I often do this with my kettle, or stainless steel pans - it loosens the gunk right off & allows you to clean it with ease! 👌🏽

Yoghurt can be expensive to buy in stores, especially the flavoured varieties. Thermomix have a number of delicious recipes on Cookidoo for yoghurt or you can simply search online.

Making yoghurt at home can be a real money saver and can also help to cut down on unnecessary sugars and preservatives. 🥄😋

I did find a couple of apples which lead me to my old favourite apple cake and I made it into mini apple loaves for the lunch box.

I’m replenishing some of my favourite Thermie pastes this morning. Look at all the fresh herbs, spices and veggies going into these pastes. So much deliciousness right there 😋

Love how much these pastes will elevate the flavour in our meals. Plus they are super easy to make, and cheaper than buying Campbell’s Liquid Stock etc from the shops.

In the morning you can just top with fresh fruit. Otherwise for a little something extra add frozen fruit to the bowl, heat for two minutes and pour the warmed berries over the oats, sprinkle with chopped almonds and maple syrup (optional).

Then enjoy whilst your thermie pre-cleans the bowl 😊
