Hello to all my new followers, 😃 I’m Julie and I started making soap in 1998, I started doing markets as a way to sell so I could make more.. I was hooked on creating. This time last year I volunteered with www.projectvietnam.com to help build 2 concrete ramps, a brick toilet and put a slat timber. floor in a home.
It was truly a rewarding experience as these people of Battambang, Cambodia had nothing. I came home more in love than ever not only with the experience but also meet an amazing man who was also volunteering!.
Time has come to volunteer again and so on the 13th February I am off again for 5 weeks. First stop is Luang Prabang then a 4hr boat trip up the river to volunteer in Nam Bak, Laos and then holidaying in Vietnam.

Whilst I’m away Liz and Lawrence will be holding the fort at Urthly Organics. You’ll see a few photos of the next experience and I hope you’ll also consider trying your hand at volunteering, either in Australia or abroad.
