WBHSLSC Patrol of the Year & Patrol Captain of the Year ⭐️

Our amazing boatie patrol received patrol of the year after performing rescue of the month in September 23’. This group of amazing people successfully completed a mass rescue with an amazing result finding and rescuing all swimmers. They were one lucky group to walk away with a happy result.

Congratulations to our boat captain Dylan Sainsbury who also received Patrol Captain of the Year. You do us proud all the time and really deserved this award!

Well done to our rowers for your ongoing efforts for our surf club. You should be proud to achieve this award ❤️🤍💙

The Keith Charles 💙

Named after a legendary club member who joined WBH SLSC in 1992, who has also done a lot in the club and surf boats. Keith Charles has achieved 13 (State, Aussie and World) medals on the beach and in the boat. Keith got the surf boat section up and running again in the mid 90s.

Congratulations Keith, Wauchope Bonny Hills surf boat rowers are all so proud to be rowing a boat named after a true legend. You deserve this!

Aussies 24’

Congratulations to the u/19 BOTA girls who were on fire at Aussies finishing every race with a second or first. This crew unfortunately got knocked out in the semi final with some very bad luck!! (we won’t mention what that was 😬😅) It was inspiring to all WBH rowers watching you congratulate each other and still smile about how well you went. It is a credit to your team and your fantastic positivity. Bring on NEXT SEASON!

The u/19 Bombers and Reserve Women Boatettes both placed in round one which meant they didn’t have to row in the repecharge, both just being eliminated after round 2.

It was a great week to watch our crews raced some very talented teams in Australia and it was amazing to see our junior crews compete at their first ever Aussies 🙌🏼 Congratulations to all our crews this season, you have definitely done WBH PROUD ⭐️

Have a good rest and we can’t wait to see what the 24’-25’ season brings 💙❤️🤍

U/19 BOTA - the most successful WBH crew at Aussies 24’ were honoured of their results by laying a wreath out at sea in the surf boat for ANZAC Day ❤️

Unfortunately due to large surf, the surf boat rowers patrol took the IRB out to lay the wreath.

The final round of NCSBS on our home turf definitely turned it on for everyone.

Unfortunately, racing got canceled after round two due to the conditions. It would have been good to see how our crews would have went if we kept racing longer because they were all on FIRE! 🔥

NSW STATE 💥

Congratulations to our 4 crews who rowed their hearts out on the weekend in Manly.

U/19 girls (BOTA), U/23 men (Bull Terriers) and reserve women (Boatettes) all made it through to finals day with the u/19 men (Bombers) unfortunately just missing the cut.

U/19 girls and U/23 men both knocked out in the elimination round Sunday, as the reserve women made it all the way to the semi final. Sadly, just missing out on making the NSW reserve women final.

Thank you for a great carnival! Thank you for looking after us and providing us with accommodation. - we are very grateful! ❤️
