We're looking at the medial rotation of the left hip. See what it's doing at the knee and foot? I did lower back moves and a little tweak on adductor magnus and got this shift.

Shameless bragging past.. I've spent the last 10 days pretty much in my pyjamas; ignoring all the adult jobs and catching up on my homeopathy studies. Sat my first exams this morning and got 81% and 100%. Beyond thrilled!! Long way to go but it's a good feeling to have the first 2 exams done and dusted.
Holidays and resting now.

I've also successfully used aconite for coughs that appear suddenly!

When no two coughs are alike, how can you have only one remedy for cought. Homeopathy recognises this and has a remedy for each type of cough.

Well that's the best nights sleep I have had in a long time, unassisted by painkillers. Had Bowen Therapy yesterday and I can safely say it has worked a lot. Still a way to go, but to be able to roll over in bed basically pain free is awesome. Anyone with back pain, neck pain, any kind of muscle discomfort or pain, it's worth a try!

Happy New Year dear friends and Bowen family! I was super lucky to have my entire immediate family with me at Christmas and it was LOVELY! Hectic too.
I've currently got dad on the table, baking. He's still broken; but his hips are aligned again😏
It's only been a year since his initial fall- he's working on Territory time. I've been pushing for further testing such as an ultrasound.. in his own good time... It's his birthday today (and apparently he's not celebrating; I am)

Following on from the Nux Vom post yesterday.. Some other helpful info from Owen Homeopathics.

When it comes to overdoing it the stand out remedy is Nux vomica. This is known as the homoeopathic hangover remedy with classic symptoms of irritability; usually worse 2-3 hours after too much alcohol or after over eating, especially very rich or spicy foods. A dull headache that may be accompanied by some dizziness. There can be nausea, heartburn, cramping pain and a heavy bloated feeling. This remedy will do much to soothe and calm.

I currently have several of this remedy in stock and am selling them for the special price of $15 (retail for $20) until stock runs out. Nice little stocking stuffer:-)

Actual proof that I'm working Saturdays in the lead up to Christmas. Well.. this one and next Saturday anyway. Might get crazy after the kids get home next weekend.

I've just been busy living my other life as well. You all know about my trips to the NT but many don't know that I'm studying to become a homeopath and also working in my partner's electrical business (I hate office work).

I tried to be helpful today and mow the grass but old mate comes home from work and tells me I'm not to go around and round; that I should go back and forth. Surfice to say he's currently mowing and I'm drinking a beer, watering the garden😂 Follow me for more cunning tips😂😂

Privileged to have spent this time with my dad over the last 2 weeks. Told him to eat, rest and get big and strong for family Christmas. Tell the people that you love, that you love them. None of us are getting out of this alive.

I had forgotten how long this process can take and how absolutely frustrating it can be. If you find yourself in this situation I have some advice. Whatever you do, pack a lunch. You will not be home again for lunch. Also, don't pack up your things. Don't strip the bed in anticipation😬
While you're waiting for the pharmacy to send meds up, you'll get pain again and then you'll need to lie down (after the bed's been made again). And so on and so forth..

Honestly, I'm so grateful to be taking dad home. And I have so much respect and love for the medical staff that kept him alive and to my beautiful medical friends for their advice. I, we have just reached frustration level and need to be gone now😏😦😢
