3 Job Ad Tips - TalentVine Interviews Affix.

A high performing #JobAd is not just a #jobdescription. You need to give your candidates a compelling reason to move to a new role. Last week Connor had a chat with Eron Castro about her three tips to write a high engaging job ad.

1. Know your #audience
Who is the exact person you are looking to hire? Is it a CEO or a Junior Backend Developer? Keep this in mind when creating the copy of your ad so that you resonate correctly with the audience.

2. Keep the #tone conversational
Write the job ad like you would explain the role to a friend. Avoid the phrases like “the successful candidate” or “the ideal applicant” – this will only make your candidates question whether they fit the role or not.

3. Tell a #story
Take the individual reading the ad on a journey. Make them imagine life in this role and what they can accomplish. What problems will they solve? Who will they help? How will this make them better as a person.
