This place is so big and each place we visited was so different from the other we are keen to know of any other places that would be cool to visit there.

When staying in luxury resorts sometimes we found it was better to pay the lump sum for all inclusive. Due to the prices of meals and drinks 🍸 every day it can actually work out heaps cheaper.

We choose this option in the Maldives having 3 meals a day breakfast being buffet and your bar fridge getting restocked everyday plus drinks for the adults and kids every day.

A little thing we did was any drinks or nibbles we had in our fridge in the room each day we took out and saved them for when the bar was closed or when we chose to stay at our bungalow 😉.

Having the all inclusive was also an opportunity to try all the drinks you normally wouldn’t buy or the very expensive ones for example some of the drinks where $40 each 🤪but because we had all inclusive we could have as many as we wanted so definitely shop around for your options a lot of places now have the menus and prices online so you can check them out before booking weather your gonna be saving or not 😊 for us it was a big savings especially the bar 😂

So many people travel to other countries and dont respect the culture/religion 🙈 and wear the most revealing clothing 🫣not realising that in some of these places it’s highly offensive.

We have always done our research for when we go to another country we like to show our respect and so we dont draw extra attention or drama. This is especially in those more modest and religious countries example Qatar 🇶🇦 a simple cover your shoulders, not to wear short, revealing offensive or tight clothing can stop a lot of hassling or treated differently especially for females.

When travelling I honestly didn’t care if I looked like a grandma 😂 in some countries because at the end of the day I wasn’t drawing in any extra unwanted attention because of what I was wearing. In some countries it’s classed as very disrespectful and can also be against the law and trust me something like that they can be a jail sentence especially over in them countries they are not just a slap on the wrist like they are here😳

Definitely a location I want us to return to as a family there are so many beautiful islands there and it there’s an activity or place for all ages 🥰

What’s your favourite Greece island you have been to or would love to go?

We stayed in about 5 different rooms/hotels in Santorini reason being we was there for two weeks and we wanted to experience different locations, different hotels.

We have always booked like this several hotels at the one location for that reason and I don’t think we will ever change that. Mixing it up different experiences at each one is truely unique saves the travelling to go to the other side for a day to and travelling back.

This was Dana Villas & Infinity Suites Santorini the view every day was spectacular even when one of the days we got a shower come over 😍

What’s your preference for hotels 🏨?

For us it’s comfort, unique, close to everything and service weather it’s a 5 star ⭐️ hotel or a 1 star ⭐️ hotel 🏨

We found what works with us is going early and using the tripod or flexi tripod before the crowds come.

Selfie 🤳 Stick and all the go pro accessories we pack accordingly to what we have planned or booked for the day rather then carrying it all around.

We do tend to put each country on a different SD memory card just incase one was to get a courupt file we won’t loose all our photos but most of them also we take on our phones 📱 just to be on the safe side. The reason doing this is we have personally lost photos in the past ☹️

Due to the cost of our equipment we tend to take them on the plane with us so they don’t get damaged or lost or even stolen and the batteries 🪫 we pack in our normal luggage 🧳 if aloud. We would rather loose a suitcase of clothes then our valuables 😬

It may seem like a lot but we pretty much got it down packed we both got our separate camera bags and what we each use. Sometimes we might pack totally different equipment for the day it’s all just by personal preference.

Wow we have made it to 9200 followers 😲 over the last year from people all over the world 🌎😳 something that we originally only started off with as a page to share us two’s journey and experiences with family and friends and whoever wanted to follow us so we didn’t clog up everyone’s newsfeed 😂

Fast forward to now we have started to put together travel products to start up a small online business which we will be launching soon. We will also be investing in products and showing them to help travel smart and more convenient with a baby as we are no longer a duo but a soon to be little family travelling 🫶🏾

Cannot stress this enough before going overseas make sure your data roaming is switched off. If you ring your telephone network to activate calls over seas incase of an emergency 🚨 and you don’t use your phone to make a call ☎️ still make sure you check your next bill when you get home.

Years ago I was well and truely aware of getting a large mobile bills when going overseas as my friend got hit with an $18,000 dollar bill…..Yeap you heard that right. So I made sure before I left I had data roaming off but I also activated with my travel network I was going overseas incase of an emergency. When I got home from vacation the telephone company tried to hit me with also thousands of dollars as well when I tried to tell them I was perfectly aware of data roaming I never had it on I made sure of that they than tried to say I had something else turned on BS. Anywho got it sorted after a year of battling with them and having proof 😩 now I don’t even activate the travelling overseas because I can use messenger if needed but if you want to you still can just be mindful.

When travelling there are a lot of data or travel SIM cards you can purchase we always get this or use the free wifi at our hotels or cafes/shopping centres be mindful though using so many public wifi’s we always have our VPN on to stop any scammers or fraudulent activities from happening.

These can be gained on your app for free or at a cheap monthly fee. I personally have had my fair share of big frauds (not while travelling) and this was the one thing that saved me in the end 😄

🔹🇨🇳💙Hotel Eclat Beijing 💙🇨🇳🔹

If you haven’t picked it up already we do love our unique and artsy hotels 🏨. Something that stands out about it wether it’s an underground cave, art museum a hotel with a private pool or even a little house made out of mud/clay.

This hotel was in Beijing at a pretty good location walking distance to everything and guess what it was attached to a shopping Center 🤭 something we hadn’t experienced yet from our room you could look down at all the shops.
The cool thing about this hotel is it was full of the most unique and bizarre art all through it and including in the shopping center too. I’m not sure if it’s always that much because at the time they did mention about an art museum day so I think some things may of been added in throughout the place. I will add some photos up but not all as there was just so much in there.

Where is a unique or cool place you have stayed or even just seen?
Post them below they may be somewhere we would go and stay. Trust me we have done it before someone tag us at a place or somewhere to visit for them and we have. For example my aunty wanted me to visit the terracotta soldiers in China 🇨🇳 for her so I changed our whole trip around to pull in and visit them so she could see them through our eyes/photos and they actually ended up being one of our favourite things about China.

💵💰Holiday - Payment Plans 💰💵

With the cost of living going up payment plans for everything has become more available and tend to make things a little easier on the pockets.
I’ll list some of the places we have used or we know of to pay off our holidays or flights in the past and we will still continue to use them.

•Bookafly- flights and excursions
•Booknowpaylater- For flights or accommodation
•Zippay/ Afterpay/ Humm
•Flight Centre - you can open and account like a bank and deposit money so you can book anything with that money at anytime.
•Trip Me- tours including local flights
•Designer Journeys- multi country tours private or groups
•Chrisco- Holiday Packages

One thing we have always made sure though if booking holidays that the deposits can be transferred if plans change.
For example we still got deposits on our Dubai, Cambodia, Vietnam,Laos and Thailand and Paris trip but due to covid and having our little miracle baby we had to postpone and push everything well and truely out to work around work and maternity leave and all the companies that we went through were so flexible especially now some of these trips will be well and truely until baby is a bit older as they are a bit far to travel with him in the new born/toddler stage for us and the reason we didn’t cancel as we would lose our deposit of a few thousand dollars and we won’t throw away money 💰 especially when we still want to go to all of these places just not at this stage. So before booking I highly recommend having these conversations with the travel company you are going through to find out what there policies are ect.

🇨🇳 Toboggan- The Great Wall Of China 🇨🇳

Now here I was telling Joey we are going down it then I actually froze and nearly chickened out 😂 but thankfully he reminded me why I was doing it (bucket List) and we was off even though I was miss daisy going down some hardhead in-front of me was zooming around the corners like he was in a race on Mario cart to where he caught up to the person who was well and truely way infront of him 😂

The toboggan ride is at Mutianyu, a well-preserved stretch of the Great Wall which is 90km north of Beijing, it descends from the top of the wall all the way down covering 1.6km of beautiful views of the valley and winding sections through the forest.

We highly recommend to do if you ever get the opportunity it was definitely a fun experience 👌🏾🎟️🤟🏽

🚗🚇🛺🛵Transportation 🛺🛵🚇🚗

There’s several ways that we have done or used for our transportation on our trips.
•Airport- We always try and book through hotel that way we don’t get scammed or ripped off this way it’s a set price both of us rather pay a little extra have someone waiting for us with a sign then have people following and hassling us at the airport 🤚🏽
•Hire A Car- We only do this is less busy or easy to follow places.
•Taxi- We negotiate a price before we jump in sometimes we will even hire a driver for a whole day.
• Bus & Trains 🚂 I’ve found they can be a little harder to read the timetables especially if there not in English but each time we have managed.
• Depending where you are or where your going private plane- They can work out not to expensive depending season.
•Scooter or four wheeler - I’m not a fan but Joey loves them 😂 I’m more the person who will jump in the more safer option 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

We only ever told a few people this but can you believe I actually done a trip to Maldives 🇲🇻 a week after we just returned from there…. Yeap I went to work for a week after our holidays then I caught the train to the airport in my work uniform flew to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 then Maldives all because our connecting flight on our previous trip had no luggage so it was gonna cost over $2000 for us to add our luggage 🧳 to that flight 😳.
I swear it was the most nerve racking moment because we had all our sentimental gifts from travelling 2 months so guess what I did I frantically threw all my stuff in the bin in the airport clothes, makeup my good watch by accident 🥺 with Joey looking at me confused trying to stop me but I wasn’t prepared to toss all our bags. After all that it still only took it down to $1500 so we ran outside the airport to this day luggage storage place and I asked if they could hold my bag for 1 week and I’ll be back just don’t throw it 🤦🏾‍♀️ they said yes thankfully 👏🏾 so we went back just in time to catch our flight and flew back to Australia with no luggage and the following week Joey had a mates bucks night and I decided to fligh to the Maldives to collect our bags 💼. I wasn’t exactly complaining I got an extra trip over to the Maldives again while Joey partied on with his friends for less then the price it was going to cost us for our baggage 🧳.

One thing we learnt is if we ever book through a third party make sure the connection flight still had luggage included this was something I didn’t even know could happen as I always thought luggage would be on both flights if the main flight did when we booked it all together.

In the coming months as it’s still a working progress I’m not a master at this and im still educating myself 😂 but we will be launching our little travel accessories and gadget shop linked on our travel page with items that have either helped us or we thought others may find useful on there travelling adventures 🥰🗺️🛩️🫶🏾🚢🏯🙏🏽

So what better time to show 3 things that have helped us along our travel journeys either for storage wise, helping us travel more lightly and convinently. We may not have these exact items in our shop but we will have similar with a few other little things 😊

Universal Charger 🔌 with USB ports- We carry only one of these and a multi power pack rather then carrying several different universal chargers.

360° Rotation Tripod- because we try to go to most main locations at opening time this is good for taking your couple/family photos

Portable gadgets organiser- with so many digital devices we have this was the easiest way to store all of them in one area.

😬🗺️ Least favourite Location 🗺️😬

Giza Egypt 🇪🇬- We absolutely loved everything about Egypt there was so much to see and do the food was yummy but Giza we just were not a fan of. You get hassled from get go.

Walking the streets of Giza and taking photos the locals didn’t like it and they followed and pressured you to delete on-top of the stares. It’s definitely an area you wouldn’t see us walking alone in and I’m saying this because it’s the parts people don’t talk about much. Luckily for us we done our research and knew what to expect we wasn’t gonna let any of that ruin our moment to see the pyramids.

We visited the pyramids twice and both times where perfect timing the reason being we was there on opening time before all the hassling began 😂. I know people are only trying to make a living and they’re just hustling to make ends meet but honestly it was overwhelming and sometimes uncomfortable and we are so use to it from other countries we have visited so for us to say it it definitely stood out more than the rest.

We are not saying don’t visit the pyramids but just be mindful walking around in the location of Giza that surrounds the pyramids respect the locals and as frustrating as a situation can get be kind and try and walk away this country is truly beautiful and there is so much to see actually one of our favourite locations was also in Egypt as well siwa we went with a local company Mayor MeMe and we couldn’t fault them every part we felt safe and everything was planned at such short notice because we decided to stay longer😊

I really hope one day we can go back as I would love to see the new Egypt museum so much beautiful history 🥰

🥨Memories Aicha Luxury Camp Cafe🥨

Ever been to a cafe where it’s built into the rock walls of the desert 🏜️?
This was ours at the camp we stayed- (Memories Aicha Luxury Camp) It was covered in beautiful gold touches and furniture with bright colourful cushions. It had the basics of nibble foods to eat and the basic of drinks they didn’t serve alcohol and there was no wifi so it definitely was a place of connecting with the land and just enjoying the moment and the mars like views 🥰
This camp was beautiful and the food delivered at dinnertime and breakfast at the big dome next door was 110% delicious so much variety😊

🏰🗺️ Kerak Castle 🗺️🏰

This is a large medieval castle located in al-Karak, Jordan. The construction began in the 1140s and it is one of the largest castles in the Levant.

😬 Let’s Talk Missed Flights 😬

Could you believe us two were sitting down at a cafe having drinks and food while our plane was flying over us 😂. Our 9pm flight was apparently a 9am flight ✈️ what made it worst is we was flying to Xian in China 🇨🇳and had a full day tour booked for 6am 🕕 and there was only one flight left for the night at 11pm.
What went from arriving way early to now running around in the airport trying to re-book our flights again not to mention our cards declining our transactions because they thought it was a scam and being a weekend early hours in the morning in Australia the bank was closed to try sort it out. Thankfully 😅 we got it sorted with our lucky last card to try. After all that we pretty much ran to our gates and nearly missed the last flight for the night again from getting through security 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏽‍♂️

These are the things most people won’t share with there awesome Travelling photos but truth is sometimes you have hiccups and setbacks, stressful moments and even scary moments for some and all you can do is learn from them and try and improve or do things differently for the next time.

Ps. After being all organised with printed itineraries so we couldn’t make the same mistake we still managed to do it again 3 years later in Turkey 🇹🇷 but on different circumstances 😂

I often worry about getting food poisoning in other countries but I just look how the food is stored, prepared and cooked. My favourite dish by far was a seafood Stirfry from a street vendor in Thailand for $2 couldn’t have been more fresher and full of flavour was so good we went back 4 days in a row to get it 🤤

🦧🐘🦒 New Zealand 🇳🇿 Zoo 🦒🐘🦧

To think 23 years ago this was where it all started my love of travelling the place I did my very first international trip to the south island of New Zealand then 10 years later I came back and did the North Island now it’s a regular that I don’t even class it as a holiday even though I say to Joey I still want to be a tourist and see things but for him it’s just home 🤦🏾‍♀️😂
I swear next year when we go I’m going to attempt again to make it to that Hobbiton Movie Set and somebody is getting left behind 🤣

For us we like a bit of both.

Booked tours and drivers there’s benefits.

•No driving
•Scheduled
•Know the location and history behind a location.
•Group Tours- Meet New People
• Most of the time won’t get hassled for tour guide because you already got one
•Most have lunch included in prices or set location for lunch or dinner.
•Someone else does all the planning and booking for you for tickets ect.
•Speak the language which helps with speaking to locals.

• Own Schedule can change to suite
• Research your own itinerary and information
•Can take your time

🇦🇺Our Own Backyard - Australia 🇦🇺

One thing I probably wouldn’t have gotten around doing was travelling parts of our own country Australia 🇦🇺 if it wasn’t for covid restrictions. Over 8000km travelled in our car over 3 weeks and just booking or camping as we go and stopping wherever we wanted to or when we seen somewhere interesting. Not even going to lie I loved it just as much as our international travelling 🧳
