Our Plan Managers will work with you to ensure if you are engaging a provider that you have funding in the required category available for claiming.
When providing administration of your plan, we will ensure invoices are claimed, providers are paid and that supports are within your NDIS budget. This means that you do not need to worry or stress about the administration of your plan, and you can focus on your supports and working towards your NDIS goals. Our plan managers will also liaise with your support coordinator, guardian, next of kin and any providers when requested.
Being engaged with a Plan Manager means that you have a bit more flexibility in which service providers you choose. We provide a wealth of knowledge and information within the NDIS funding guidelines, what is reasonable and necessary along with your choice and control. We also make sure that your providers are charging you the correct amount in line with the NDIS price guide.
Our Plan Managers keep a track of your funding and expenditure to ensure you are well informed and know if your plan is sustainable for the life of your plan and you do not exhaust your funding early by making you aware if you are over or under utilising your NDIS plan. We will monitor the funding and provide you with monthly statements so you can see how much funding you have spent and how much is left.
Dependable Care DRPS values your rights, we promote choice and control for every participant, this means that you have the ability to make your own decisions about how your supports are provided. We do need to follow the NDIS guidelines of reasonable and necessary, therefore if the support seems like it is outside of that, we will contact you to discuss it further.
We look forward to working with you into the future.

BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT AT DEPENDABLE CARE DRPS
Dependable Care DRPS now provides Positive Behaviour Support through Improved Relationships funding. We can offer specialist support services to adults who are diagnosed with a psychosocial disability, cognitive disability, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury, or dementia.
What is Positive Behaviour Support? Individual positive behaviour support (PBS) is a process that combines evidence-based practices from applied behaviour analysis and other disciplines to resolve behavioural challenges and improve the independence, participation, and overall quality of life of individuals living with a disability.
These behavioural challenges are defined as any behaviour that puts the individual or those around them at risk or leads to a poorer quality of life for the individual with a disability.
Behaviour support is not just about managing the behaviours, it is also about skill development, learning to communicate, managing emotions, and a lot more.
We acknowledge that challenging behaviours occur for a reason.
It is World Schizophrenia Day May 24th & in Australia 1 in 100 are affected & around 24 million people worldwide. It is a disorder which affects a person's ability to think, feel & behave clearly.
DRPS supports many participants living with Schizophrenia & works with their individual needs.
Happy Paws is a weekly event Judith and Katie attend where they get to spend time with some furry doggos and share some love. Animals help promote inclusion and happiness with their human friends and this is a much loved activity.
