Things are well underway for the 2023 physio ball, get keen!!

This means that time is running out for refunds if you’ve somehow got somewhere better to be. After the 13th numbers are finalised so please get in before then.

1 MONTH LEFT until this years Physio Ball!! Our final last minute tickets are available until Thursday Midnight so make sure you don’t miss out!

An AGM will be held on 13th of September to elect a new BPS committee. Available positions are as follows; President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. Shadow executives (support committee) are also needed to support the committee executives.

- Dr Alex Diggles; Men’s, Women’s and Pelvic Health as well as APA Titled Pain Physiotherapist
- Dr Nicholas Drahiem; Paediatric Physiotherapist
- Erika Spicer; Elite Sports and Musculoskeletal Private Practice
- Katrinka Geleen; Equine and Small Animal Physiotherapy

Event Details
When: 24th of August, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Where: ACU Brisbane Campus 212.G.02
Cost: $5 (to assist in gift hamper purchase for guest panellists). The cost will automatically purchase you a society membership also.

These panellists have rearranged their clinic hours to speak to us!! Please come and support this event and get to know more about the different pathways of Physiotherapy from some very knowledgeable and experienced physiotherapists.

There is also a lucky door prize where we are giving away a free ticket + a heavily discounted ticket to 2 students that register and attend the event!

The School of Allied Health and Careers and Employability invites you to ACU’s Allied Health Careers Expo 2023

Date: Tuesday 8th August
Time: 4.00pm - 7.00pm
Where: John Paul II foyer (Building 212), Brisbane campus
Who is this event for: Our focus is 3rd and 4th year Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology students but all years welcome!
You should attend if you are:
• A final year student who is looking for graduate roles or want to find out more about different employers and areas
• A final year student already with a job offer, it's a great opportunity to meet other employers for your 2nd or 3rd job after university!
• A 1st, 2nd or 3rd year student wanting to find out more about what part time and casual jobs are available and start to research different employers and graduate programs
Employers include: QLD Health, Mater, Uniting Care, Catholic Education and many other Allied Health employers
Dress code: Professional

How will the expo run?
• Meet in person with a wide range of employers in booths to explore possible graduate programs and relevant casual/part time work
• Gain insights from employers who representing a broad cross section of Allied Health employment opportunities in an employer industry panel
