Spent the morning with my guys at our Wynnum Farmers Market (Bloody freezing). If I was a consumer I would shop there. Such a cute market, heaps of parking , plenty of farm fresh produce and friendly service. Please share if you have friends in the area. Kel x

So much to be grateful for after looking at the next 10 days weather forecast. Perfect growing weather, cool nights, plenty of sunshine and regular watering !!! 8000 leafy greens to be harvested over the next 6 weeks with ongoing harvests as long as the weather is with us. See you at Powerhouse this Saturday and Sandgate this Sunday. Kel x

A bit of early morning muscle workout Mulching for the fig trees now they have been pruned

Yes, we have had the fire on since 2 pm to warm up the house and ourselves Showers of rain all week again has left water sitting on top of the ground Just when the farm was beginning to dry out !! A fine week ahead , so much replanting after a 3 market weekend

Big harvest and prepping day for Powerhouse market. Carrots are a bit wonky but beetroot and eschallots are great. Tomorrow’s harvest will be basil , coriander ,lemongrass and those cute baby cos lettuce. Ginger and turmeric done. Kel x

Trimmed the row of POMMEGRANATES last week after a great first harvest. Colourful new growth already coming thru !!

We have a blue Java banana plant at the entrance of our property. Healthy looking and apparently tastes like vanilla Icecream. Can’t wait for the fruit to appear !!

Ducks are back for the winter, time to put up the nets to keep them off the greens !!

A job well done, mulching the low chill apple trees. Hopefully next year we will harvest more than 2 apples (bloody deer). Keep the front gate shut !!
