We had a great ‘World Vegan Day’ at The Loving Hut, Mt Gravatt today. It was wonderful to see some familiar faces and catch up🌿🌿🌿

The vegan Cruelty Free Food was delicious - I had the Laksa and David had the Not Seafood Basket.

This is a great time to retry some of our frozen foods - tonight we are defrosting and reheating the Moroccan Tagine with Dates and Almonds cooked with Pumpkin and Aubergine and served on Savoury Polenta…..Wow that’s a mouthful! It was so yummy and we were so hungry we ate it before I got a ‘just baked’ photo……we served with a salad 🌿🌱🌿🌱🌿🌱

Got me some Ruby Creek Mushrooms yesterday 🩵🩵🩵 ready for our BBQ this evening. And how affordable are the asparagus!!!
We’re having tofu kebabs while the kids have spiced mince kebabs and they’re kept well away from each other….

Is anyone in a place to give a home to this big beautiful boy? Toby - is housetrained, neutered and cuddly. He needs a loving home by mid November ❤️

We have both spoken and said goodbye, for now, to so many of you! Thankyou so much for coming in and seeing us, visiting at the markets and contacting us via social media!
I will miss how social the shop and markets were, as chatting with you all was so much fun 🤩 What started out as a bit of an experiment has definitely shown us that there is a market for foods that are both GlutenFree and Vegan and plenty of room for food that is in the style of home cooking and healthy. Especially when it is as convenient as a takeaway or a drive through.

There is plenty of work ahead of us in the area of exploring a bigger range of frozen foods, lunchbox fillers, savoury pies and plenty more…..as well improving our biodegradable/compostable packaging and labelling. Getting some of our foods retail ready with everything from barcodes to smick packaging. And of course a new premises …..

If you want any gluten free vegan cookies I have 9 flavours today and I also have hot food - arancini, spinach and pumpkin risotto and mushroom risotto nice and hot.

We are all set up at Annerley Junction Fest 2024 - FIESTA! Which is on from 10am-3pm today. We are in the main market ‘zone’ in Dudley Street East - look out for our big orange sign!

Today we have cookies, kombucha and our lunchbox with a savoury tart slice, fresh made hummus, Mediterranean bean salad and an Arancini ball. Just in case you’re hungry…

As you may know all of our foods are gluten free dairy free egg free plant-based vegetarian and vegan. As usual we have a few tasters of our cookies, including the latest addition our peppermint chocolate flavour.
