An inquiry by the Insurance Brokers Code Compliance Committee has found that many insurance brokers had embraced their position as an intermediary between client and insurer, often going ‘above and beyond’ to get good outcomes for clients in 2020. NIBA CEO, Philip Kewin said, “The report reinforces the value brokers bring to their clients… the findings demonstrate that brokers were able to adapt and stay in close communication with their clients.”

Welcome Emily Leggat, the newest member of the Cornerstone Risk Group team! Emily's role is Assistant Account Executive. She has previously worked in a variety of industries including medical reception, retail, coaching and in a law firm. Emily grew up in a small town outside of Toowoomba called Meringandan, and recently moved to Brisbane for a new experience!

She loves all sports, but her main sporting passion is rugby union. Emily has played for a total of eight teams within Queensland and South Australia, two of which were representative sides. She has also coached ages 6-18 in her first few years out of high school.
