A few weeks ago I had the absolute honour and pleasure to talk at the Brisbane’s chapter of on the subject of Trust. Despite knowing about this for months, it took me a long bloody time to nail down exactly how I wanted to speak to this topic. The end result was a little bit weird and while that was a touch out of my comfort zone to share that side of myself, I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to, and that it was accepted with grace and follow up questions 😂 Thank you to the CM team, especially to .scheiwe who is always pushing for the creatives of Brisbane a platform to share themselves and their stories. Thank you for the wonderful photos and to for an incredible venue to speak at. I’m grateful to those who made the effort to come along and offer their time to listen to me speak 💕

⭐️ HELLO! I got SHADE at TGAM for my 199 bumper sticker (currently sold out 🥲) that residents of the 4005 were upset by my preference of the West End 4101 post code, so I made THESE to satisfy all 199 users. I have also made the crowd favourite of blaming EXPO 88 into a keyring for y’all too. You’re welcome. They will be available first at the night market tomorrow at Warehouse25 from 5pm - 9pm! 🥳

🎨 MINIMALL 🎨 Thrilled to have Emily Howard on the MINIMALL line up! Emily Howard is an interdisciplinary artist based in Brisbane. Her work includes mediums such as painting, screen printing and textiles. Her work strives to alter the representation of feminine self-portraiture as a device to provide voyeurism for the male gaze to claim power over acts of female vulnerability.

✂️ MINIMALL ✂️ Thrilled to have Jade from ChubbyCalico on our line up! 🥳 Jade is a collage artist based in Meanjin, Australia. All of Jade’s collages are crafted by hand. She enjoys the methodical nature of cutting out small pictures, layering and arranging and glueing it all together. The supporting text in her collages come straight from her diary. Collaging helps Jade articulate and process things that she is going through. This combined with her analogue style is what forms a chubbycalico collage.

💍 MINIMALL 💍 We welcome Kelsey Rose to our market line up! Kelsey says about her work and process- ‘from a little girl I have always been drawn to pretty, glittery materials and found peace in surrounding myself with natural beauty. Enjoying hands on subjects at school like metal and woodwork it was obvious that after travelling interstate to do a gold smithing course I would never look back. I found by manipulating and working with precious metal and gemstones, I was able to speak to my heart and make other people feel beautiful at the same time. I am a formally qualified Manufacturing Jeweller, completing a 4 year apprenticeship under master jewellers and look forward to a lifetime of learning from others as well as passing on my knowledge to the next generation. I hope my pieces bring you the same joy they leave in my soul.’

Chris hangs out in the genre of ‘low-brow’. Much of his work centres around the extravagant, strange world of masked Mexican Wrestling, otherwise known as ‘Lucha Libre’. Chris is proud to have numerous solo shows & a few books under his belt. He is Chris & these are some of his ‘things’!

🌈 MINIMALL! 🌈 Introducing a new fresh blood to the mix, Handy Andie! Handy Andie Ceramics is a small-batch ceramics business that is fully handmade by me (Andie!). All my ceramic work is hand-built or wheel-thrown in my home studio in Meanjin. My work celebrates the natural elements of clay through marbling and exposed textures, while also incorporating touches of whimsy through colourful glazing and drawings. I enjoy creating tongue-in-cheek and silly ceramics and sculptures, transforming everyday items into artistic masterpieces.

Muck & Meddle is the work of independent jeweller, Rachelle, creating distinctive jewellery inspired by mosaics, organic shapes, and whimsical iconography. Each piece is crafted through traditional metal-smithing techniques using recycled sterling silver, hand-picked sea glass, and ethically sourced Australian gems. Slowly made by hand resulting in one-of-a-kind treasures.

🚨 MINIMALL! 🚨 Introducing the wonderful 🥳 Georgia is the creative human behind their artist brand, Geo Illo! What started as a way to document their art journey turned into a full on passion platform for sharing and spreading their art and creativity across a wide range of mediums, such as traditional painting and illustration, fibre art and tufting as well as product development! Despite the vast array of mediums and modes of creating, Georgia’s work is very recognisable through a dreamy cool-toned colour palette, along with heavy themes of nature and florals. Most of their work is lighthearted, freeing and gentle whilst touching on topics of self-validation, self-compassion and inner healing.
