Hi art families

With the insane weather at the moment and the press release just announced from the premier to collect your children from school early today, we have made the decision to cancel today’s art class.
This is for the safety of all art students and staff as they are predicting that there will be flash flooding and severe storm activity.

So sorry to do this to you all but the safety of our staff and students is my concern.

With the school closure continuing tomorrow: Tuesday art classes will be moved to our Virginia Studio(28 Pritchard road).
Class will start at 3:30 and run til 5pm.
My apologies for the last minute change but I was only notified late this afternoon after the premiers announcement.

We will keep you posted as soon as we find out when we can return.

We painted the cutest baby sloths in our Friday art class🦥

It’s crazy what kids come up with 😍 these were a couple of unguided creations made from wool, felt & paddle pop sticks! 👏🏻

I love to see their self confidence grow and their process of bringing an idea to life. Even in the less theory based units, you can see how much they learn from being hands on with the material. So proud!

At the start of the class we asked the kids to draw a turtle, then we walked them through a step by step grid drawing technique. How amazing are these progress pics from just a few minutes apart! Goes to show everyone can draw with the right tools & knowledge!
