Out-of-the-oven-fresh Baghlava (no that is not a typo, it is the Persian version of the Greek Baklava).
This popular dessert has many variations across the Mediterranean and Middle East. Essentially it is a filo pastry dish filled with chopped nuts, spices and sweetened with honey.
Our Baghlava comprises layers of filo pastry, honey, walnuts, pistachios, dates, and spices. This Persian version of the Greek baklava is nuttier, spicier, a little less sweet, and deliciously moreish.

As part of our continued collaboration with local charity we collect donations at Dux Cafe. Customers can choose to contribute their free coffee to the jar.
Community Canteen is a fantastic charity that provides nutritious meals for community members in need, particularly those experiencing homelessness and domestic violence.

It's Magic! A Magic Coffee!
Ever heard of a Melbourne Magic? Lucky for us, and you, our barista extraordinaire Harvey is one of the few Brisbane baristas that know how to nail a Magic. We've been told, that once you try it you will never want to go back to your ordinary flat white or latte.
Now, what is a Magic Coffee and why is it so popular in Australia's coffee capital Melbourne?
To put it simply, a Magic is a double ristretto (a restricted espresso cut at the halfway point) with steamed milk, served in a cup only filled three-quarters full. It's close to a flat white but stronger.
What's so magical about it?
A ristretto has lighter, fruitier notes than an espresso and cuts out the bitter, darker flavours. Combined with silky, smooth milk and a smaller quantity of liquid to a flat white, it hits the sweet spot between coffee and milk.
