This unapologetic work from a First Nations creative and performing
arts company seeks to reclaim and sustain traditional healing practices and inspire future generations to stand strong in their identity and truth. YaโDjin, meaning โspeakโ, echoes a message of resistance and courage from the artists, inviting the community to speak up and fend off any pressure to remain silent.

Congratulations to Brymore Productions and the Backbone Team for the warm, cozy, cuddly launch of the new Backbone Theatre for Babies program. We loved learning about the program and its inaugural production 'What's In The Woods?'.
Thank you to all those who visited the sensory woodland to learn about the project and what comes next. 'What's In The Woods?' now moves into a trial period throughout August and September with sessions and tailor-made content for three distinct age groups 0-1, 1-2 and 2-3 years old, before officially opening as part of Backbone Festival in October.
Families with children in this age group are encouraged to book into these trial sessions via the Backbone Website, and interested industry professionals who are keen to learn more or potentially see the program delivered in their community are encouraged to contact us for more information.
