We are looking for exceptional cooks and/or kitchen hands to join our fun and energetic team at Yatala Drive-In, to skilfully prepare meals to a high standard and in a timely manner.

The role involves:

cooking and meal preparation
making coffee and preparing beverages
cleaning and ensuring food safety standards are adhered to
stock checks, rotation and control
customer service
operating hours are 5pm to 10pm (7 days a week)
pay is in accordance with the Broadcasting, Recorded Entertainment and Cinemas Award
You will have a genuine passion for creating and serving high quality food. You are personable and have demonstrated leadership skills. Your knowledge of WHS practices ensures your standards of food hygiene and safety are impeccable. You have excellent interpersonal & communication skills and thrive on customer satisfaction. We will be hiring your personality and attitude first and your skills second.

In addition you will possess the following:

minimum of 2 years' experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food & beverage environment
ability to work unsupervised and to manage your own workload but also the ability to follow directions and learn quickly
follow prep and cleaning lists and ensure accurate record keeping
ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude in a fast paced and high demanding environment
strong knowledge and experience in Food and Work Health Safety
Hold a valid RSA certificate
must be flexible and available to work nights, weekends, public holidays and school holidays
available for an immediate start
