As you know, these are incredibly tough times for small businesses, especially independent live music venues like ours. Five months ago, we issued a desperate call for help to save our beloved venues from closure. We knew we were part of an amazing community, but we were blown away by the love, support, and generosity you showed us.

Our Story
Can You Keep A Secret? began its life in 2010 as a vintage treasure chest housed in a 1920’s Queenslander in the Brisbane suburb of Greenslopes.
Following a move in 2014 to Stanley Street in Woolloongabba, CYKAS found refugee in a beautiful old shop house built by George Hillyard in 1865. The most perfect fit for a business who celebrates the old world and times gone by!
With a little hard work, sweat, and not too many tears, the duo (along with some very helpful helpers) transformed the old shop from its bad 90’s makeover to reveal the beauty within (including the stunning brickwork surrounds).
The lounge bar & vintage boutique are overflowing with vintage knick-knacks and kitsch curios, and have a wonderful array of fine small batch wines, spirits and craft beers, delicious cocktails and of course locally sourced vintage clothing.
