This dress is a way to help vulnerable people in need.

The money raised from each quality item donated to our Red Cross Shops goes towards the everyday efforts of Australian Red Cross.

The higher the quality of clothes and accessories donated, the more funds available to support people facing hardship, crisis, and disaster in Australia and overseas. ​

This could mean daily welfare phone calls to older folks who are isolated, support for communities recovering from a disaster or welcoming families making a new life in Australia after years in a refugee camp.

If you’re more interested in the volunteer side of things, we’d love you to join our team in-store. It can take as little as four hours out of your week, and you’ll get to connect with the community, meet new people and pick up a few new skills along the way.

Only one week to go until the Uber x Australian Red Cross Clothing Drive! On Saturday 21st October, you’ll be able to donate from your doorstep between 9am and 4pm by booking a FREE Uber Package to pick up your pre-loved, quality clothes, and accessories for donation.​

We’ve put together some do’s and don'ts to help you decide what items to donate. We urgently need high-quality clothing to sell. The funds raised help support people experiencing vulnerability, disaster or crisis in Australia, and overseas.​

We received many high-quality donations that are now on their way to local Australian Red Cross shops. There they will be sorted and sold to raise vital funds that help us support people experiencing hardship, crisis, and disaster in Australia and further afield.

Our Drive Through Clothing Donation Day is being held at Lyne Park, Rose Bay, in partnership with Woollahra and Waverley councils.

We’ll be taking quality women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories and jewellery. Donations will be sorted and distributed to Australian Red Cross Shops, and the funds raised will support our vital humanitarian work.

Our Pop-Up Shop at Melbourne Town Hall last weekend saw thousands of items sold, with roughly 3,500kgs of clothing diverted from landfill. What’s more, all funds raised have gone directly to Australian Red Cross teams at home and abroad, ensuring we can be there during times of crisis, conflict and disaster. Thanks to you, we can make a lasting difference.
