😍 We are putting on quite the display at Beef Week this year with King River jerky and premium Wagyu patties to sample, Wagyu figurines that the kids will love, gift packs and more!
☕️ Plus you can get your caffeine fuel with our charity partner Ripple Affect providing coffee all week 🎉.

➡️ You’ll find us right in the Agricultural Hall at stands A1-A2, just a stone’s throw from all the action in the centre ring.

Team King River put in a strong showing at this year’s Wagyu Branded Beef Competition, taking home four awards (three silver and one bronze!) for our Full blood and Crossbred Wagyu. 🏆 

We’re so proud to represent the Queensland beef industry on a night like this - and you can bet we’ll be back next year for a shot at gold! 🥇

All in all, a really special night enjoyed by all celebrating the best of Australian Beef.

🌾🐃 Did you know that Lotus Park is owned and managed by the Kemp family, one of King River’s founding families. The feedlot is where we finish our Wagyu for up to 450 days to ensure our beef 🥩 is consistent, has beautiful marbling and a rich, nutritious flavour.

Ribs, anyone? Our Rib Fingers (or Intercostals) are immaculate in presentation and unrivalled in flavour. Cut from the bones that run between the rib eye rack and the short ribs, Wagyu rib fingers are the beef equivalent of pork spare ribs. They’re packed with flavour, moisture and that stunning Wagyu marbling - and as you can see, our processing plant goes above and beyond to make sure they’re a cut fit for a king. 🤩 👏

Queensland’s Burdekin River runs through Mount Ravenswood, one of our stunning pastoral properties. In fact, all of the founding King River properties feature river pastures - where the most fertile soil is found. Rich soil means better pastures and healthier, stronger cattle. 💪 It’s all part of the King River commitment to excellence...quite literally from the ground (or the river!) up.

We are excited to announce the appointment of our new King River CFO, Anna Wilkes.
 
Anna brings to King River her gift for seeing the big picture, understanding the numbers, and designing a pathway to reach big goals. She excels at synthesising information and devising strategies for the management team. With a family of her own, Anna aligns with the emphasis King River places on family and says that her greatest lesson in work has been the power of aligning her career with her personal values.
 
When not “being a boss”, as her kids like to say, Anna can be found painting, cooking, or enjoying any book by Alexander McCall Smith. However, her favourite place is to be out in nature either close to the ocean or tucked away in the hinterland.
 
Anna brings an enthusiasm and passion to her work and the King River team is looking forward to her insightful financial leadership taking us into 2024.
