The A-Z of coffee - the Piccolo Latte, which - translated from the Italian - means 'small milk'. A Piccolo Latte is small as it's served in a 'demitasse', a small glass. It's made up of a shot of coffee which is then topped up to the brim with steamed milk (if it's two shots of coffee topped up with milk it's technically a 'cortado'). Pop in and try one tomorrow! Here's one being made at the cafe…

Here's our famous Avo Bruschetta, waiting for one lucky customer! Smashed avocado paired with fresh diced tomatoes, onions, fresh basil, a poached egg, feta cheese on sourdough with a choice of bacon, mushrooms or halloumi. Mmmm. Available from 7am tomorrow! (and until 2pm)

Coffee facts: caffeine is a 'central nervous system stimulant', which is why you can focus better after a coffee. And it's pretty good for you too – but don't go OTT – it is possible to drink too much (more than 6 cups a day may cause irritability, insomnia and jitteriness!). Pop in for your first from 7am tomorrow!

The A-Z of coffee – the Macchiato. A Macchiato can be 'short' or 'long' ('short' is with one shot of espresso, 'long' is with two) and is made with a teaspoon of hot steamed milk and a dollop of microfoam. Often (but not always) served in a short glass. Macchiato literally means 'stained' or 'spotted' and presumably refers to the dollop of microfoam!

Happy Valentine's Day! Did you know 14 Feb is Valentine's Day because this is the day that a Christian priest called Valentine (now Saint Valentine) was executed on the order of the Roman emperor in the year 270 …not a lot of people know that!

AND… it's Shrove Tuesday today which means it's also pancake day. Come down and have some! (these are American pancakes)
