The End of An Era... and an Amazing Brand!

Writing this post is probably one of the hardest things I have had to do in the 6 years of owning and operating Bodecare.

It is after careful consideration, over a significant period of time that I have made the decision to close the business down. This is not a decision that was made lightly, however the disruptions and excessive increase in importing/exporting costs during COVID-19 and some other considerable challenges have forced me to re-evaluate the business, both professionally and personally. With this decision comes great reflection and sadness, but also relief and excitement for my future beyond Bodecare.

My 6 years with Bodecare have taught me immeasurable lessons in business and running a brand. Most of what I had no idea about when I started the journey. Along the way, I have met and worked with some amazing people who have helped, or guided me through. What an amazing ride it has been! The most fun I have had has been working the Trade-Shows and Expos with my Mother, Dawn, (something
that we were forced to stop during COVID lockdowns and further). If you met us at a show, you know just how much of an asset she has been in my journey, and the joy we had working together.

We will be trading into the foreseeable future until the majority of stock is cleared, with an official closing date of 30th June 2022. From a retail perspective, stock will be reduced up to 60% off RRP effective immediately. From this point stock will not be replenished, so when something is sold out, it will be gone for good.

To my Stockists, Customers, Suppliers and Affiliates, I want to take the opportunity to say thank you to each and every one of you for your belief, trust and support for the brand over the years. It has always meant the world to me that you chose Bodecare as a brand to trust, and journey with.

Our Gorgeous Maddie with one of our most popular dry skin brushes. She is using the Tampico brush, it has firm bristles, and a long curved detachable handle to brush those hard to reach places.

We still have a few of our Limited Edition Detox Packs that include our amazing Detox Brush. It is a short handle, medium bristle brush that is great for those just starting a dry skin brushing routine, or those with slightly more sensitive skin. I love to alternate using this brush with my firm bristle brush depending on how my skin is feeling on the day.
