An award winning venue, located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, Laruche (French for ‘the beehive’) offers much more than your typical night out. Split over two levels, the venue hosts two bars, a designated outdoor smoking area and a restaurant-kitchen. Since opening in 2009, impeccable service, bespoke cocktails and a delectable food offering have become synonymous with the Laruche experience.

Penning his debut EP 'Once Upon A Time', we thought it was time we got back in the booth with 'House of Pablo' ft. Jacob Tompkins.
With three quality records set for release in November, Refuge offers the 'House of Pablo' stage so you can get nice and intimate with one of the hottest young producers we have seen this year.
We enlisted some seasoned selectors with label head Oscar de Lima & HUMP head honcho, Pish to offer their tasty set of joints. Last but not least, Kessin who has been circling the scene offering up a fresh serving of underground House.

Laruche Invites 'Open Records 15 Years x Perspective Album Launch ft. BOY WITH BOAT
Signifying two landmark events in electronic music in Brisbane, we invite you to celebrate with us the release of Boy with Boat's debut album "Perspective" and the 15th anniversary of what is the powerhouse Queensland record label, Open Records.
Beginning its creation before the world shutdown and completed as it once again began opening its doors, "Perspective" is the end result of three years of production output during the most turbulent period of history in human memory. Effortlessly moving from driving, riff-driven dance-floor stormers to deep, hypnotic melodics, funky progressive and lush, this 12-track masterpiece is the perfect example of the full stylistic depth of the Aussie innovator.
Coinciding with the release of "Perspective" is a celebration of the hugely successful 15 year history of Open Records. Back in 2007, the seminal compilation, "Slow-Release" dropped on CD and no one could have predicted the impact of this release (and subsequent releases) on music around the world.
Please join us in celebrating these momentous occasions when Open Records takes over Laruche.
