I have a role for a particular kinda person. The kinda person who smiles when they make eye contact with a guest before they prepare them a mighty fine espresso. The kind that likes to drink espresso while they work not only to caffeinate themselves but more so to enjoy the flavours and nuances between different single origins that we rotate and offer.

At Edward Specialty Coffee we brew coffee with structure, speed and uniform standards to ensure that our lovely customers keep coming back for our delicious coffee.

The role is Monday to Friday on a Salary (negotiable and reviewable) of 48k + Super. Shifts range in size between the hours of 6am and 4pm but will generally only run about 7.5 hours.

The ideal candidate would:

~ Genuinely enjoy the hospitality industry
~ Have a great attitude towards constantly improving their skill
~ Well-groomed
~ Structured in their workflow
~ Have an eye for detail
~ Drink copious amounts of black coffee
~ Have 2+ years experience in retail/hospitality/coffee industry

To be eligible for this role you must be:

~ Be legally allowed to work a full-time role in Australia.
~ Be able to get to the CBD for shifts that start as early as 6:00 am
~ Be able to work to 4:30pm

Key elements to this role:

~ Opening or closing the business for trade
~ General cleaning duties
~ General cashier duties
~ Preparing coffee (espresso & filter)
