We don't employ people to make coffee; we make coffee to employ people. Breakfast, lunch coffee and catering. Good feed and a good deed!
Our Café is a part of the Nundah Community Enterprises Co-operative, formed in 1999 to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues. We derive the bulk of our income from trade and receive no ongoing government funding to provide our unique services.
Did someone say SALE? 🏷️ Check out Nundah’s cheapest Op Shop tomorrow, Friday 25th (usually only Wednesdays).

Do yourself a flavour and nab some Libees Honey at Espresso Train. With spring on the way, now is the time to injest local pollens via this amazing raw honey. I’m told a teaspoon of honey from your neighbourhood will reduce hay fever symptoms 🤧🐝🍯🤗

Last year Nundah Community Enterprises Cooperative celebrated 25 years of Social Enterprise at our new venue Marhaba Cafe. It was a swanky affair with an epic grazing table by our cafe & catering team led by Espresso Train Head Chef/Manager Phoebe who turned 25 last week. We are so blessed to have Phoebe on our team. She is mature beyond her years and leads by example, always reliable, kind and patient but will likely never understand Sam's humour 😁

Manager Sam scrubs up alright don’t you think? He’s heading out with some of The Co-op Crew to the Micah Projects Moonlight Magic Dinner Dance tonight! Our workers look forward to this night of glamour and celebration every year. We hope everyone has a fabulous night of food, fun and dancing. Enjoy! 💃 🕺🪩

So, it's a bit too tropical today 🥵 In fact, its 41.7 degrees in the cafe kitchen 🔥 In light of this, we're closing early so the team don't melt into a puddle. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience but its just too darn hot today 🫣 We'll be back tomorrow 6:30am-2pm as usual. Thanks for understanding 🥹
We really are pretty great to work with ☺️
