TOM'S STORY

The man behind Tom’s Confectionery Warehouse is Thomas Jeanes.

Tom was born in Toowong, Brisbane in 1943 and grew up in the family home with his two brothers and two sisters. A jack of all trades, Tom has seen and done many things in his life.

His career history is as interesting as it is various – Tom has worked in a butchers shop, on prawn trawlers, driven trucks, worked as a scrap metal collector and even owned cigarette vending machines! However, what Tom will always be remembered for is his role as one of Australia’s largest confectionery retailers and distributors.
