Can you believe it, it's the end of July and the last Friday of the month?! Ya'll know what that means: VINYL NIGHT at the ! 🎛️🎧🎶

If you haven't been yet, here's what to expect.

A bunch of music lovers bring a collection of their best records down to the bar and take turns spinning 3 songs each. It's a great way to share the music of your favourite artists and connect with like-minded people 😁

So dust off the LP collection and see you on Friday from 7pm!

Make sure you get your name on the board early for Open Mic Night because, judging from the last month or so, it will be a busy Thursday night! Come down to the bar on Friday evening from 7pm and bring your records. It's time for our monthly Vinyl Night! Join the Bluegrass Jam Session, hosted by Gary Vann on Saturday afternoon, and stay for State of Appalachia's set, kicking off at 7.30pm.

From 3-6pm, our celtic session host, Blarney Stone and his band members invite you to join their jam. An afternoon of traditional Irish & popular folk music. Bring your instrument and be part this fun 3-hour Irish Pub and sing-along session.

In the evening, from 7.30-10.30pm, Palomino III is bringing “a hefty dose of moonshine with a twist of sarcastic melancholy..." to the bar. The key elements of this little powerhouse trio lie somewhere between vintage and modern, stripped back and bare bones. Hot tip: Don't miss your chance to catch this trio live 🔥

Coming back to this weekend: Sandgate's very own Mick Hobson and band Sometimes 3 🎶

Sometimes 3 will serve up a range of great tunes with a decent dose of ear candy from the 70s. Perfect way to warm up for the weekend! See you all on Friday night from 7.30-10.30pm.

You might know him as the award-winning drummer of the Mojo Webb Band. Coojee brings an old-school atmosphere with his rhythmic, finger-picked guitar. Join us for a Friday session of bluesy goodness!

Monthly Blues Jam 🎷 Saturday, 6 July, from 3–6 pm
Whether you're a seasoned blues veteran or a newbie with a harmonica, we welcome you to share your talent at our monthly jam. Don't miss this opportunity to jam with fellow blues enthusiasts!

Mark your calendars because Panic Merchant is about to return to the Cardigan Bar! These aren't your average musicians; they're a funky fusion force of nature! The anticipation is building, and we can't wait to see you there!

Phil West & Friends 🎵 Sunday, 7 July, from 4-7pm
Phil West will start with a set of chilled covers, and then Dead Head Redemption will play a set of swampy originals for you to click on your dusty bootheels. To round out the evening, the Marauders will take you for a dance and a soulful singalong to off-the-track classics.
