Hello! 👋 Let me re-introduce myself. I am Andrea. I make people feel good by reminding them how to reconnect with their body, mind and soul, through yoga, Pilates, meditation and conversations. I sometimes challenge the way people think. Some people like what I have to say, and some people don’t. 😄
I have been going through my own healing journey after becoming a mother, suffering from post-partum depression and separating from my life partner of 14 years. Life is full of surprises and will continue to surprise us.
I‘m a proud scorpio ♏️ mama to a 3-year old scorpio boy. We are fierce, strong, passionate and together we can achieve anything we want 💜
I love the beach, good food and deep conversations with „real“ people. I can sense your energy very quickly and you will mine too ☺️
Fun fact about me: I speak German. 🇩🇪 It’s one of my mother tongues. I’m European, Asian and Australian. I‘m all three and I am lucky to be all of these. ❤️

How are you spending your time with your little ones?
My first big achievement after becoming a solo parent: I bought my own car 🚗 !!! It’s not big, nor super modern but it is mine 🥰
Today, Joshi and I went on our first road trip together in our new ride. We visited our dearest friends on the Sunshine Coast and had heaps of fun.
When you feel alone, remember you are not!!! You have amazing friends who always got your back no matter what.
And that is also how I got my car, through the help of my dear friends who truly care about me and my son 🥰🥰🥰

Life update (aka my affirmation of the week): ✨I am inspired to do better ✨
In the last few weeks/days I have met/connected with people who have inspired me, who have reminded me of the good things in life and they gave me hope. ✨
✨ Inspired me to be the a better version of myself and to persue my passions (teach more yoga & Pilates, organise more events, continue to study, sing 😄)
✨ Reminded me that not everything is lost, although it felt that way and hurt so badly
✨ Gave me hope that life as a single mum doesn’t mean that there is no bright future ahead of me
It starts with acceptance and letting go. And it feels so good. If you’ve been in a deep hole just like me, it’s time to rise. We can do this!!! 💪
This is my most recent photo. There are many things I hated about myself and my body since becoming a mum and since being left by my husband. I lost all my self-esteem. But now, I finally feel beautiful again. I finally feel strong again. I feel hope again. I am inspired to do better ✨
To those people who have played a part in my significant transformation: thank you and I love you ❤️

What props to use when attending a yoga nidra session 😴
Our studio@one_body_studio will provide you with mats, some blankets and bolsters. To make your yogic sleep experience as comfortable as possible, we do recommend bringing the following:
✨ Eye pillow: This amazing little prop as seen on the image above helps stimulate the vagus nerve which promotes a deeper relaxation
✨ Eyemask: Helps block out any light that may disturb you
✨ Comfortable clothing: Bring a jumper and wear socks. Yoga nidra lowers your core body temperature, be sure to have enough layers on.
✨ Towel: For hygienic reasons, you can place this on your mat or use as a blanket if you get cold.

Peggy has been a Sound Healing practitioner for over 4 years using Vibrational Therapy Bowls from Nepal.
After introducing sound baths at the end of her yoga classes using her treatment bowls, she was called to learn the way of the gongs and offer longer, deeper Sound healing meditations.
The two large handmade gongs she uses in her events are unique and powerful. They will help your nervous system drop in a parasympathetic state and their vibrations will help move the energy through your body all
the way to and through your cells.

Are you considering to have a baby soon? The truth is, trying for a baby can be very stressful. Even more so when after all your preparation you end up getting a negative test result each month. It’s heart breaking and many are on the verge of giving up.
When hubby and I decided to get pregnant, we started with the “planned step-by-step” version. Taking ovulation tests, eating healthier, taking our supplements, entering data into our calendars, making sure to “try” at the right time, etc, etc. Tbh, it wasn’t fun. Then we went on a holiday to Thailand, we told ourselves to not think about getting pregnant and just have a fun time. 🎉
In Chiang Mai, a beautiful little town in the north of Thailand, we indulged in delicious local foods, explored the beautiful areas, practised yoga daily and attended various meditation sessions together. One of the sessions was a gong sound bath by Khun Veerayuth. It was so mesmerizing and we both where in a state of bliss at some point - even after the session. We were happy, healthy and relaxed. A few weeks later, after our arrival back in Australia, I took a pregnancy test and hello 👋 Baby J was already in my belly 🥰
There are many factors that influence a pregnancy. Being healthy, happy and relaxed certainly help. 💕
