IT'S ROAR WEEK AGAIN!! This Friday we celebrate their last Roar EVER before they move on to youth. Let's see them off with an awesome party 🎉. Details are above!

As a kids ministry and wider church, we are engaging in and supporting the Christian RI (religious instruction) program. This is a wonderful opportunity to share about Jesus.

Training for this begins NEXT WEEK to equip us to do this. This will run for 8 weeks on a Tuesday from 7pm - 8:30pm at Bridgeman Baptist Church. There are currently thousands of students each week who miss out on RI because there isn't enough RI instructors. Let's get this statistic down!

Last week, our beautiful kids had some superstars from Nexus Care come out and speak to them about what they do and what it means to care for those in need. Over the next couple of weeks we are encouraging children to bring in their cans and non-perishables to pack into food parcels. As friends and family, we are asking you to partner with us to aid and inspire them with this mission. We CAN do it 💪 🥫🫶🏼

Hey parents! I hope you had a beautiful Easter weekend and a wonderful start to your holidays.

On Sunday the 7th and 14th of April we will be running a HOLIDAY PROGRAM in kids church. Check-in will be as usual but the older children will remain with their parents during worship and the leaders will walk the children downstairs to P1 to watch a Superbook video after worship, pick-up will be as normal. Sprouts and Rockets (EP) will run their usual program and stay in their room the whole time.

Let us take a moment this week to thank the Lord for the children in our lives. They bring so much colour and joy and we are so blessed by them. They are the greatest gift of all - all the glory goes to Him 🤍.

Hello Nexus Kids parents! There are some changes happening to the Nexus Kids rooms. Creche is being relocated and Sprouts and Rockets is being split. The new split is:

Sprouts: 18 months - 2 years
Rockets: 3 -4 years

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in this transition. We love your kids!!

HOORAY it's the first Roar of the term is THIS FRIDAY! We will be celebrating everyone's birthday with games, party hats and of course CAKE 🎂

If your child is in grades 3-6, we will see you there at 6:30pm - Don't forget about Best Dressed 🤩🥳!!

This Sunday is MOVE UP SUNDAY! We will be celebrating and officially welcoming all children who are moving up into a different kids room/ age bracket. A reminder of the split:

Creche: Ages 0-2
Sprouts and Rockets: Ages 2-5
Prime: Prep - Grade 2
Legends: Grade 3 - Grade 6

Change can be scary and we want to make this transition as smooth as possible for you and your child. We also may have a special visitor to help make this welcome extra special. Can you guess who it is? 😉

We have just started a new series at Nexus Kids - if you haven't got the hint we are "AT THE BEACH". Can't wait to learn about the goodness of God while having heaps of fun. We will see your little dudes and dudettes next week! 🏖🏄🌴
