About the company

Established over 20 years ago Superior Screens is a leading manufacturer of COLORBOND and aluminium privacy and shade screens, fencing and gates; with an extensive network of distributors across Australia and New Zealand.

About the role

We are currently seeking a CNC Machine Operator & Metal Fabricator with experience in simple CAD and flatbed CNC routing. We currently use a Multicam Flatbed CNC and Fusion 360. Previous experience with the assembly of metal screens, fencing and gates would also be preferable but not essential. Working Monday to Thursday 8 hours a day and Friday working 6 hours finishing at 1pm. This is a full-time permanent role. You will need to be physically fit to manage the regular manual handling tasks required of this position.

Essential skills and experience

CAD drawing experience (Fusion 360 or similar)
CNC Router experience
Ability to co-ordinate work flow with other members of the team
Ability to perform preventative maintenance
A high degree of accuracy with measurement is essential
Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions
Well presented, reliable, excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Adherence to safety procedures and policies at all times, maintaining a safe environment for both yourself and others
