2011 - 2021 Ford Ranger + 2011 - 2020 BT-50 (2.0L, 2.2L, 3.2L) Garrett Upgrade Intercooler (881649-6001) fitment information!

It has come to our attention that Garrett's upgrade intercooler for the Ranger / BT-50 can run into issues when installing to a vehicle with bullbar / tow winch modifications.

Any modification to the front bumper can cause clearance issues when installing the larger intercooler. The front of the standard intercooler and back of the tow winch require at least 75mm clearance to ensure space for fitment. This can be rectified with slight fabrication work, so we suggest that any vehicle with modifications to the front bumper has the intercooler installed by a mechanical workshop.
