Domino FX | Chapter One releases this Friday night, a compilation album featuring techno artists based in QLD, Australia.
Introducing our next artist MILL7 .
Dj, producer and electronic music enthusiast, Paul Millar Aka Mill7 is originally from Edinburgh Scotland and is now residing in Brisbane Australia. Paul cut his teeth in the hardcore scene, promoting and performing at underage clubs in the northeast of England in his mid-teens. After returning to Edinburgh, his style quickly evolved towards more cutting edge house/techno and progressive sounds, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed and Danny Howells whilst attending events in Edinburgh’s vibrant dance scene.
During this period, he spent many years performing at all the major night clubs in Scotland, whilst promoting his own events and bringing international acts to Edinburgh he would also play a lot of special events, such as Nuklear Puppy, Boombox, Elements and many more. Over a decade later and now living in Brisbane, Paul Millar Aka Mill7 is still massively involved in the scene, co hosting and promoting the Keltik brand and helping bring some dynamic, forward thinking boat parties to Brisbane city.
His experience in the UK had a profound impact on him, carving the house/techno and progressive sound that creates energy on the dancefloor, that is what you will experience from his sets today.
Mill7’s two tracks for the album is available on Spotify and all other major music streaming platforms.

Johannes Heil, born on February 3rd 1978 near the town of Bad Nauheim is a German Techno producer and live performer. He took his first steps towards becoming one of the most prolific producers of the scene at the tender age of 14 in Heiko Laux’s Techno Bistro “Kanzleramt” in Bad Nauheim.Laux recognized the young artist’s potential and took him under his wings.
His new label and its sub-label “U-turn” offered the perfect opportunity to feature Heil’s first productions. His debut single “Die Offenbarung” in 1996 took the scene by storm. Two years later, he launched his own imprint JH-Records with “Die Eigene Achse” as the opening release. In the same year, he engraved his name with his album “Reality to Midi”.
Techno experienced a revolution: Raw and menacing beats combined with sweeping basslines and hypnotic soundscapes defined a sound that was literally unheard of. The album and foremost the track “Paranoid Dancer” filled record cases around the globe and is today regarded as one of the all time classics of techno. Johannes, a regular guest in Frankfurt’s legendary night club “Omen” met local legend Sven Väth there, who valued his productions so much, that he teamed up with him for the all time classic “Dein Schweiss”.
Johannes is a complex character, both as a person and as a musician. He simply doesn’t fit into any conventional pattern. His thoughtfulness manifests itself in his music, every album is a reflection of his very soul with musical experiences as diverse as Techno, Electro, Dub or Ambient. The feelings of his tracks are just as diverse, ranging from pure dancability to deep musical journeys, dark and mysterious on one hand, but bright and full of life on the other.
Over the years, Johannes has explored many faces of electronic music and featured them on his labels Metatron and JH-Records, other important labels like Cocoon Recordings, Break New Soil, Klang Elektronic, as well as Len Faki’s label “Figure”, which features him regularily since 2013. Aside from his own releases on Figure and Figure SPC “Lifesigns”, “Transition 1&2″ or “The Spirit Molecule”, his collaborations with Len Faki have garnerd praise and attention. Their joint project “LFJH” has brought forth hits such as “Octupuss”, “Dirty” and “Perception” to name just a few of their many tracks played around the globe every weekend.
In 2015 he opened his basecamp Exile together with Markus Suckut on which both have allready released three singles of their great teamwork, his new album "The Black Light" will be released on exile on november 23rd.
Hardly any other producer has blessed the genre with so many productions. His early works have long since become part of the long term memory of Techno history, his musical passion remain as strong and vibrant as ever.
Blending tradition and progress, past and future, his work is the soundtrack for the now.

Clockwork Orange. Its legacy that spans over a quarter of a century. The legendary party returns to its spiritual home Es Paradis, where you can relive their golden years with a night full of classics. Expect a full-blown celebration, including a water party.
The legendary club night started in London in 1993 and went on to rock Es Paradis between 1994 and 1999. After a triumphant return in 2014 with a one-off weekend celebration, the orange army is back once per summer for an extended weekend in multiple locations.
Emerson began mixing hip hop records at the age of 14, and by 16 was DJing regularly at local venues. He began to explore House Music and quickly acquired a reputation as one of the top British DJs, and demand for his services saw him playing at top clubs such as The Milk Bar, Limelight, and Venus.[2] Emerson has garnered several accolades such as "DJ of the Month" in The Face and i-D magazines.
In 1990, Rick Smith and Karl Hyde relocated to Romford, where Martin Prudence, brother-in-law of Smith, introduced Emerson to him,[3] with Hyde inviting Emerson to become the third member of techno band Underworld. 1994's dubnobasswithmyheadman was their commercial breakthrough onto the then burgeoning British electronica scene. While working on their second album, 1996's Second Toughest in the Infants, they released the single "Born Slippy .NUXX" in 1995, which was then re-released in 1996 and became a hit following its inclusion on the soundtrack to the movie, Trainspotting.
During his time with Underworld, Emerson also founded his record label, Underwater, in 1994. It was initially an output for himself and the artists he met along his travels, but it grew to become one of the most influential dance labels of the early 1990s. [4]Underwater began as a deep techno label, but when Emerson's taste shifted from techno to a more house/progressive house style, the label followed suit. Its sixth 12" release ("Life's Little Pleasures"/"Mr Sonic") came from an artist listed only as 'Ned Flanders', but is rumored to have been Emerson himself.
Emerson also emerged as a much sought-after remix talent, with remixes for acts such as The Chemical Brothers and Björk.
Emerson parted ways with Underworld in 2000 and then concentrated more on his solo career as a DJ and remixer, and also a label owner. "Global Underground: Uruguay" (2000) and "Global Underground: Singapore" (2001) soon followed on the Global Underground label, with "Episode 1" on his new Underwater label following in 2002. He continued to release tracks by himself and new artists on the Underwater records label and eventually gained its own night at super club Pacha, Ibiza alongside fellow DJ Erick Morillo, to hold a joint Underwater/Subliminal Records night. During its second summer at Pacha, his Underwater Records night won 'House Event' of the summer at the DJ Magazine awards. After its success, Emerson decided to host its own full night at Pacha, Ibiza which became an extremely popular night on the island.
Over the past few years, Emerson has been busy touring the world whilst preparing for his own solo debut album. He rarely plays in the UK apart from his previous bi-monthly resident slot at London club The End (a venue which closed down in January 2009). In 2007 he performed at Sensation White in the Amsterdam Arena.
Since 2004, Emerson had been dating British TV presenter Kate Thornton, but on 3 February 2011, Kate announced that they had split up. They have one son named Ben, born in May 2008.
In 2009, he released a third compilation for Global Underground – Bogota and in 2010 he launched a new label, DETONE, on which he has so far released the club tracks "Gracelands", "Decisions", "Hard For Slow" and "Au Go Go", featuring the vocals of the lead singer from Empire of the Sun.[5] Meanwhile, he continues his relentless globe trotting DJ schedule and in the past year,[which?] Emerson has also begun hosting DETONE club nights at East Village in London.
You would be hard pushed to find a more in-form, in-demand and talented artist as Steve Lawler. Regarded as highly by his industry peers as he is by his huge global base of musically educated fans, Steve has been busy with the beats long before genres were but a twinkle in clublandʼs eye. An electronic artist who defies generic boundaries, he began his career organising the infamous motorway raves back in the early 90s underneath the M42 motorway.
As a producer, his releases have been signed by some of the world’s most established recording labels. R&S Records, Systematic, Drumcode, Harthouse, Cocoon, MBF, O**M, Sci+Tec, Tsuba, Be As One, Kostbar, Soma, Hot Creations, 8bit, Moon Harbour, Knee Deep, Play it, Say it and of course his own recording label VIVa MUSiC.
VIVa MUSiC, which is now celebrating its tenth anniversary, has quickly earned a reputation for breaking new talent; it’s released tracks by such artists as Jamie Jones, Reboot, Audiofly, Simon Baker, Davide Squillace, Bushwacka, Livio & Roby, Ilario Alicante, Tiefschwarz, Waze & Odyssey, Doorly, Denney, Christoph and of course Lawler himself, amongst many others. VIVa MUSiC releases frequently find their way into the record bags of dance music’s highest profile tastemakers. As an A&R, artists like Detlef, Denney, Leftwing & Kody, Simon Baker, Audiofly, Leon, and Livio & Roby could all tell you about the support, encouragement and opportunities Lawler has given them.
VIVa MUSiC works as a culmination of everything thatʼs gone before; from putting on the aforementioned illegal raves, to his residency at super club Cream back in the mid 90ʼs and the success story of his 7 year residency at London’s The End. Whilst nobody could question his underground credentials, Steve’s talent as a producer has also led him to remix high profile artists such as Jamelia, Dido and Justin Timberlake. As well as recording a track for the blockbuster horror movie by Ian Softly, ʻThe Skeleton Key’, Heʼs released some of the industryʼs most well-known mix series such as the ʻDark Drumsʼ ʻLights Outʼ and the ʻVIVa Series’. Bringing his well-honed selection skills into 2016, Steve has now begun his own monthly radio show, NightLife Radio. Allowing him to champion the latest and best underground artists he’s discovered in the Who’s Hot and What’s Hot section, Steve also provides a live recording from one of his recent sets in each show.
Steve held a triumphant residency for nine years at the Balearic club Space in Ibiza, where he earned himself the nickname ‘The King of the Space’. His VIVa Nights residency where Steve played from doors open to doors close at The End in London consistently sold out for its 7 years span, and his residency at Londonʼs Home Club was one of the infamous venueʼs biggest success stories.
Now, VIVa Warriors – now known simply as ‘Warriors’ – is most well-known for being the flagship night of Sankeys Ibiza. Held every Sunday of the season, VIVa first moved to the club in 2012, and has since pulled in huge names like Eats Everything, Skream, Derrick Carter, Groove Armada, Tiga, Pete Tong and Hot Since 82. The diverse lineups, alongside Steve’s status as the original Ibiza resident, continue to draw in the biggest crowds of the week to the club. Steve’s love of DJ’ing on the island means that between his Sundays, he can also often be found behind the decks of Paradise or elrow. He’ll also occasionally be taking breaks from Ibiza to grace some of Europe’s biggest festivals; Lovebox, Eastern Electrics, Creamfields and Parklife in the UK, as well as Hideout in Croatia and Lost and Found in Malta, are just some of the dates lined up for this summer. The touring doesn’t slow down outside of the Ibiza and festival season; last winter saw Steve play at Coda, Output, Spy Bar and Mana Wynwood in the US and fabric in London, as well as touring across South America and central Europe.
Steve’s incredible career recently became the subject of a new dance music documentary, ‘The Art Of The DJ’. Directed by Piers Sanderson – who is well known for the 2010 acid house documentary ‘High On Hope’ – the 80 minute film chronicled his ascent through dance music’s tumultuous formative stages, before reaching his current status. Steve’s story makes for a fascinating insight into the genre, whilst showcasing the extent of his skill as a DJ.
Dynamic, driven and obsessed with performing as well as he possibly can. Steveʼs passion for house, techno and electronica is too strong for one simple generic association, and right now his message is louder than ever. Over twenty years deep and Steve Lawler isnʼt just at the top of his game, heʼs pushing the boundaries of what a DJ can do – both technically and creatively – as an artist and as a successful label businessman.
The End was a nightclub in the West End of London, England. Started in December 1995 by DJs Layo Paskin and Mr C, it was also responsible for the label End Recordings. STEVE LAWLER ROCKED THIS PLACE MANY A TIME.GREAT MEMORIES.
Julius O'Riordan, better known by his stage name Judge Jules, is a British dance music DJ, record producer and entertainment lawyer. He is known for his DJ activities, music production and long-running radio show which achieved global success. He was voted best DJ in the world by DJ Mag in 1995. THIS MAN ROCKED IBIZA BACK IN THE DAY.

Based in Washington, D.C., it is well known for providing house or dance remixes of tracks of famous artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cher, Stevie Nicks and Gabrielle, and for its live DJ sets. Its collaborations and remixing abilities first came to attention with its seminal 1995 remix of De'Lacy's "Hideaway". Deep Dish's album Junk Science was released in 1998. The duo was nominated for a Grammy for their remix of Madonna's "Music", and won a Best Remixed Recording Grammy for its remix of Dido's "Thank You".[2] In 2006, the DJs disbanded and moved to solo careers. They regrouped in 2014, and have released a new single "Quincy".[3][4]
In August 2009, Sharam was featured on the Essential Mix and his mix was subsequently voted the best of 2009.[5]
On March 22, 2014, Deep Dish reunited for their first Essential Mix since 2008.[6]
Fabric (stylized as fabric) is a nightclub in Farringdon, London, England. Founded in 1999 on Charterhouse Street opposite Smithfield Market, the club was voted World Number 1 Club in DJ Magazine's "Top 100 Clubs Poll" in 2007 and 2008[2] and ranked World Number 2 in 2009, 2010 and 2017.[3][4]
Fabric was closed down and its licence was revoked by Islington Council in 2016, after two drug-related deaths at the club. Following a campaign to save the club[5] it was permitted to be reopened with increased security and restrictions.
Matthias Paul (German pronunciation: [maˈtiːas ˈpaʊ̯l]; born 16 December 1971),[2][3] known professionally as Paul van Dyk (German: [ˈpaʊ̯l fan ˈdʏk]) is a German DJ, record producer and musician. One of the first true renowned DJs, van Dyk was the first artist to receive a Grammy Award nomination in the newly added category of Best Dance/Electronic album for his 2003 release Reflections.[4][5] He was named the World's number one DJ in both 2005 and 2006, something few DJs have ever achieved.[6][7] He was the first ever DJ to be named number one by Mixmag in 2005. By 2008, he had sold over 3 million albums worldwide.[8]
A trance producer starting in the early 1990s, van Dyk quickly achieved popularity with his remix of "Love Stimulation" by Humate on the record label MFS in 1993[9] and with his hit single "For an Angel". He still is an avid trance lover to this day.[10]
Van Dyk is currently the radio host of "Vonyc Sessions with Paul" on Dash Radio.
