Some things are black and white… What a journey it’s been ! Almost 5yrs since Veganburgz opened, and so many smiling faces and happy tummies.. We started with a deep sense of purpose. And that purpose shared by others spurred us to make sure we kept going, even when it was tough, even when covid caused many to close, and many permanently even after 30yrs trading ! In the USA hundreds of thousands of places shut forever. Our deep sense of community purpose in the health and wellness space has given special focus to helping a broader section of the community so, we are preparing to transition to that full time ! Our new folks won’t be for a little bit, but, it’s on its way. They won’t have our I.P as we are keeping it for franchising down the track, but, they’ll still serve you hand made tasty morsels!! Thanks to all xx

You guys are awesome !!! This year we have had fantastic feedback, appreciation for the sacrifices made to bring you what we do, and even the critics ! We are always learning, sharing, teaching, and helping as many as we are able to reach. Hope to see you soon! Remember we now have restricted hours of Thurs-Sun 8pm ish to around 2am due to other obligations. Next year our health and wellness sessions will expand to anything else troubling you or wanting to flesh out, and pro bono sessions will still be available by application depending on your circumstances. NEW STUFF: First lets give a like to this little guy who’s like the cutest thing EVER!! Can’t even recall where the pic was from but props to whoever took it. If you haven’t been in for a while you’ll see we have added a new sign to our exterior .. ShakeHaus & Burgers is rocking and cooking as normal with an entended menu and the Veganburgz menu still in full swing instore and on your fave platform for deliveries. HOURS: We aren’t able to adjust on google so keep this in mind.. We as many of you know are a non profit and have things we need to look after outside of burgers with our private consults for health and wellness plus other demands on our time. Being smaller in size than some organisations we need to shuffle from time to time and to that end, we need to revise to Thurs-Sun BUT will be reopening for day trade on those days. Like normal lunch not grandma lunch.. until super late (1am ish). We will road test this for a few weeks and see if it meets everyone’s needs moving forward. Always grateful for the love and support and thanks for shopping with us!!

Old School - the best. Remember when life wasn’t complicated? There’s magic in that simplicity. It’s been said we need 3 kinds of people: The Inspired, the Excited, and the Grateful. We have had all those and more, in our customers and clients, our supporters, even the Haters. Haters are an odd bunch, giving us free advertising, showing us they’re passionate at least! Our Inspired customers want to Be the change they want to See in the world - that’s awesome. The Excited - these guys and gals are super pumped they get such choice Plus all made in store, not like factory patties etc at many places, so we are pumped too that they get so Excited! It makes our day seeing people so smiley when they dine in. And also humbling to us, are the Grateful. We didn’t think we would have the volume of smiles that we have had, and perhaps this is one of the ways we can easily identify just how successful our little venture has been. Our shop might be small, non-fancy to say the least, but the food we create out isn’t just fresh, real, quality, and authentic, but giving smiles to all who adorn our doorstep, and enjoy the smells and tastes that we make with love, each and every burger. Plus our new stone baked garlic bread needs a plug cause it’s crunchy and v.buttery.. We are lucky to have, and continue our little burger journey, and regardless of anything, we welcome you to join us for a smile, a burger, or both.. x Bless ❤️

$1 T - that’s not the cost of our fairy bread spring rolls, granted, but it IS the amount stolen each year in the USA from privacy breaches. It made us think, how much of your Health gets stolen each year by such things as bad policy, harmful products, awful ingredients that are legal in Oz but banned in the EU for many years, accentuated unrealised risk or, just plain bad value for the consumer? Our food is Real ingredients, small batch production, No dodgy additives or factory vegan patties .. You get the point! Is our place fancy??? Nup. It is tasty? Yup. Is it amazing value? Esp for the quality, absolutely. Even after 3.5yrs since we opened we Still have our original prices which includes a burger, crunchy generous fries, and a shake or soft drink for just .. $20 😳 Get it while it lasts!!

Votes are coming in thick and fast, as they say… If you have not been in for a while or are not sure what we are talking about, it’s about whether to make the veganburgz menu expanded like some other businesses (which include animal protein options). The way to lodge your vote is to pop into store and with any burger, you get a little ticket (keeps out the trolls),and you put it in the box (yes or no) and then all the votes are added up! If you are seeing this and have not had your ticket just yet, you still have an opportunity to make your voice heard, until next Sunday, whatever that date is… 😊 best wishes x

➸ You Don't Have control Over Everything people say or Do, but you Do have control over whether or not you'll be reduced By them

➸ People Sometimes say or Do Things out of Habit or Because They don't know any Better. Not Because They Consciously want To Hurt you.

We have had feedback coming from customers wanting us to focus less on our vegan brand in favour of, non vegan lines. Naturally being a non profit we have people who we are responsible to that form advisors in various capacities. We have indicated we would prefer to not have to do this. We have decided to enlist all our vegan friends for a collective effort to show them what is what !!! We are taking it to YOU for a vote! They say, ‘people vote with their feet/appetite’ etc. Will we help save even more of our non human friends ?? You can help! Actions over Intentions we say!! After all, each vegan burger we get across the counter is PROOF of what people want! Right? And one less animal burger that gets to be sold in the world.(Compliments are always nice but the proof is in the vegan pudding!😉) So - starting next week for the next fortnight we will give a little ticket to each dine in customer (can’t do deliveries re votes sorry) and you can place it in the ‘vegan’ or ‘other’ box in our store. At the end of the time we add them up and we will show our board what time it is!! What can you do?? 1/ share to help get votes up, 2/ bring a vegan friend who is hungry for change, 3/ back the movement, 4/ vote with your heart ! Back on Wed night from 6:30p-2am happy voting!

So? What’s been happening lately? Well, some of you have been wondering… We have shuffled a few things to meet all of our commitments both inside our exciting little creative driven kitchen, and out, and are currently doing Wednesday to Sunday from around 7 pm – 2 am. We have found a lot of people prefer the late night kitchen thing, over early bird dinners. We do appreciate all of the take aways and deliveries, however we would love to see more happy faces dining in with us, it’s a bit more fun that way! Plus, obviously the food isn’t as hot with Uber etc because they can take a while! Plus, then you have an excuse to not forget desert haha x running a small non-profit is not for the faint hearted, you get all of the joys of running a normal style business, but without the remuneration as we run purely on volunteer hours. Come on in and share a yarn with us, and enjoy some snacks outside with the fairy lights which are always warm and welcoming even for the least smiley of us all. Plus, we still do kick a*z old school style large shakes - biggest in Brisbane ! Extra rich, no extra cost. Creamy organic vegan milk at standard. Same cool place, free parking for 2hrs!

The world looks like this when all else fades away in your mind and you can just Be. In that moment, in that space, peace. Nothing before and nothing after, just that one moment. It is yours. Take it and enjoy it, it shall not come again.

Thank you thank you thank you for all the messages of gratitude and support lately, we hope to extend the same love and kindness to all of our happy customers and friends. Finding your tribe is wonderful and makes life so much better, especially during the testing times at the moment. Sometimes the food companies use old pics .. this is current as posted many moons ago on our socials :)) just something to be mindful of of you like buttery vegan goodness!! Brioche is the go!! Food companies usually disclaim though ‘for illustration purposes’ etc but wanted to highlight this again for clarity and yummoness reasons .. haha

People ask us why we use the same pics? The answer is easy. Consistency. Our food is like that, too. As hungry humans, it’s something we value as much as anything. With our SmallBatch©️ handmade production methods, and only the tiniest variation per batch, it’s something that’s tasteable in every bite! No burgers factory pre made, all are cooked fresh, just the way nature intended. Featured below is our house Fin Free (battered tofu) burger, with house Aioli and buttery v.brioche with fresh salad. It’s like an old school fish’n chip shop had a vegan baby and cuddled it with a soft bun!
